At Society6 Cool Artwork Abounds, Including by Our Own Jess Lemont

Jess Lemont, the artist/musician/writer whom we proudly call a colleague here at The Brewers Bar, featured her “Racing Sausages Beneath A Waxing Gibbous” on the site back in March of 2013.  Naturally, it only took me nearly a year to purchase a print, because I procrastinate quite badly.  In any case, my framed print of those friendly tailgate meats under the moon is finally...

Rolling Stone offends Boston, most everyone else

In the process, Rolling Stone magazine decided to piss off most of the country and mostly the city...

Our Top 10 Favorite Songs of All-Time, Pt. IV

Every day since we decided to post our top 10 favorite songs of ALL TIME, I have kept a piece of paper with me and throughout the day I would write down a song that came to mind. Erasing my whole “pop-punk” phase (Taking Back Sunday would probably be the only thing on my list), this assignment was pretty easy. If you’re like, “but Brandon, the front of a goal only has three posts, the two on the sides and the one across the top,” you are absolutely correct. I hope they’re...
