Post Super Bowl Hangover
The Super Bowl is over and half of America either called in sick to work with “Food Poisoning” or “The Flu” or is terribly hungover and counting down the minutes until the end of the day. We now live in a world devoid of football for six months and personally I’m already going through withdrawal. The NFL Draft can’t get here soon enough. Here are some random thoughts...

Carr to Wind Up as the Niners Backup QB in 2011?
Seems that word is David Carr is better suited to be the Niners backup QB this season than Colin Kaepernick.
The word out of San Francisco is that veteran David Carr, who played under new Niners offensive coordinator Greg Roman in Houston, is a better bet to be the primary backup to QB Alex Smith this season than second-rounder Colin Kaepernick. While new head coach Jim Harbaugh...

NFL Draft: Best and Worst #1 Picks
The number one overall draft pick is no joke. Number one pick goes to with the team with the worse regular season record the previous season. Meaning, the team with the number one pick has not been playing too well and most likely needs players pretty bad. To have the worst record in the NFL out of 32 teams is not something a team and its fans are too proud of. To the worst teams...

David Carr - Where does he stand?
Alex Smith admitted he was "disgusted" with himself after reading his quote about Michael Crabtree in the news last week. Smith was asked why Crabtree was not attending the team's workout sessions and Smith said, "Good question. Honestly, I don't know."
It read like a kiss off and Smith...

Carr revved up to be back in NY
David Carr said he quickly realized that he made a mistake when he left the Giants for the 49ers. He was signed there and told he’d be given the opportunity to compete for a starting job last year, but the team quickly changed regimes and it became clear that he would not get much playing time.

Who is The Giants’ Quarterback of The Future?
If you answered David Carr or Sage Rosenfels you would be dead wrong and probably a Giants hater. The only way Carr or Rosenfels would be the future starting quarterback for the Giants is if we took a time machine back to 2001 and drafted Rosenfels and then made a pit stop in 2002 to take Carr. That, or Eli Manning would have to go down with a serious injury but since Eli has never...

NFL News: 49ers May Go Defense With 7th Pick
Conventional wisdom says the San Francisco 49ers need a quarterback and will select one when they pick 7th overall in Thursdays first round of the 2011 NFL draft. After the failed Alex Smith experiment they are left with a void at signal caller---unless of course you believe David Carr is the answer.
The Niners may believe that. It also sounds like GM Trent Balke has some concerns...
