DeAngelo Hall watches two teammates not tackle Rob Gronkowski
Watching the game live, umpteen Redskins fans threw up their hands in disgust when both Redskins safeties failed to tackle Rob Gronkowski as DeAngelo Hall watched, leading to a 49-yard gain and, on the next play, a touchdown.
John Keim, the normally mild-mannered Examiner beat writer, really let Hall have it for that play in his always excellent 10 Observations column:

DeAngelo Hall’s selling anti-Cowboys wristbands
If you need a Redskins pick-me-up on this dreary Monday, you can look forward to Tuesday, when DeAngelo Hall’s line of “Hail Yeah I Hate Dallas” silicone wristbands will go on sale at his Web site, DeAngeloHall.com. Watch DeAngelo Hall Pull Another Haynesworth Vs. New England
After calling DeAngelo Hall out last week for pulling a Haynesworth against the Jets, I feel obligated to post what he did yesterday against the Patriots:
As you can plainly see, Hall just stood there as Reed Doughty and DeJon Gomes struggled to bring Rob Gronkowski to the ground. Of course they failed, and Gronkowski made every highlight reel by rumbling another 30 yards before...

Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall didn’t speak with reporters in the days following the Redskins’ loss to the New England Patriots. But his play against the Patriots — which featured Hall stopping on Rob Gronkowski’s 49-yard reception and later throwing an officials’ yellow flag — came up in Sunday’s post-game locker room.

DeAngelo Hall Pulled An Albert Hayneworth Against The Jets
Leading up to yesterday’s Jets-Redskins game DeAngelo Hall called Mark Sanchez a “middle-of-the-pack” quarterback. DeAngelo should know, given the signal callers he has shared a roster with in Washington. What Hall didn’t comment on, however, was Sanchez’ fearsome blocking ability, which was on display during Shonn Green’s fourth-quarter TD run.

Redskins-Bills; DeAngelo Hall’s reaction
Earlier this month, I pointed out that the Redskins were 3-1 for the eighth time in 16 years. That was weird.
Well, the winning record is gone. Three straight losses have dropped the Redskins’ record to 3-4. Of the seven aforementioned 3-1 starts, only one of them was followed by three straight losses and a 3-4 record. That would be the second Spurrier campaign, in which the Redskins...

DeAngelo Hall on the Redskins’ defense
Before launching into yet more DeAngelo Hall transcription, some background.
The Kevin and Rock show on 106.7 The Fan features part-time radio hosts who are self-described fans of the team. They’ve sometimes been accused of being softer on the team than the professionals. And yet during Sunday’s post-game show both men were being harshly critical of the team, with Rocky Parrish...

Statistical analysis: DeAngelo Hall has been quiet on the field for Redskins
For all the talking DeAngelo Hall does off the field, his play has been quiet on it. Hall has yet to make any notable plays. He has just 0.09 +WPA, 3.1 +EPA, and just two passes defended, well below average for a starting cornerback on all accounts. He leads the team’s four corners in tackles with 11, and only 2 of them are ”successes,” meaning offenses have completed a lot...

DeAngelo Hall on the Redskins offense
If you play for the Redskins defense, you’d have to be a saint not to get a bit frustrated at the other side of the locker room at some point.
I mean, using just the crude measure of points-per-game, the defense ranks seventh in the NFL, yielding 19.8 per game. The six teams ahead of them — San Francisco, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Houston, Cincinnati and Detroit — each have at...
