Who will replace Antoine Bethea in the secondary?

This offseason the Indianapolis Colts said goodbye to their eight year veteran Antoine Bethea, who was picked up by the San Francisco 49ers. This has caused what could be the biggest hole to fill in free agency. Bethea is a two-time Pro Bowler and played a big role in the Colts’ Super Bowl run in 2006. Over the last four seasons, Bethea had forced three fumbles, as well as adding...

Indianapolis Colts: needs post-free agency

This is a pretty boring time to be an NFL fan. Still a little bit of a wait till the draft comes and free agency is basically dead at this point. It’s a good time to re-evaluate what needs the Indianapolis Colts’ have heading into the aforementioned draft. 1. Safety With the departure of long-time Colt Antoine Bethea, the safety position was a question mark heading into the free...

Indianapolis Colts 7 Round Mock Draft

After free agency, there are still obvious holes in the Colts' current roster, the biggest of these holes being the safety position. Colts Still Have a Hole at Free Safety

The Indianapolis Colts lost Antoine Bethea in free agency, and have failed to do anything to fill his hole. Are there options in free agency and/or the draft? The Colts made some nice moves this offseason, solidifying their front seven by adding D’Qwell Jackson and Arthur Jones. They’ve also made an effort to keep their own players, keeping guys like Vontae Davis, Pat McAfee...

LaRon Landry Ruled Out For MNF

Colts SS LaRon Landry (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 6 versus San DiegoFantasy Spin:We were expecting this as he didn't practice all week. Delano Howell will get another start. Facing a very hot Philip Rivers (three 400-yards passing days in the last four weeks), it would have been better to have everyone in the secondary healthy.

Preseason finale still meaningful for Indy players

Delano Howell and Caesar Raeford are preparing for the biggest game of their professional lives. Play well Thursday night at Cincinnati, and they could end up making Indianapolis' 53-man roster. Play poorly, and their careers could end Friday. It's a risky proposition in a league where more than 700 players will be cut this weekend. Howell and Rayford have tried to convince...
