Colts SS LaRon Landry (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 6 versus San DiegoFantasy Spin:We were expecting this as he didn't practice all week. Delano Howell will get another start. Facing a very hot Philip Rivers (three 400-yards passing days in the last four weeks), it would have been better to have everyone in the secondary healthy.
The Indianapolis Colts are coming off a huge win against the Seattle Seahawks and heading into a Monday Night Football matchup at 4-1 against the San Diego Chargers. It will be Andrew Luck’s first MNF game, which is pretty exciting for the new era of the horseshoe. Anyways, let’s get a quick update on the Colts heading into this game in San Diego.

The Seattle Seahawks seemed to be in complete control of their game against the Indianapolis Colts until Andrew Luck threw a 73-yard touchdown to T.Y. Hilton. On the next drive, the Seahawks were lining up for a field goal and the kick was blocked and returned 61-yards for a touchdown by Delano Howell. The Colts now hold a 14-12 lead in the 2nd quarter.
The Indianapolis Colts should do anything to make Andrew Luck feel comfortable and the addition of Delano Howell to the team should add a sense of familiarity.
A former college teammate at Stanford, Andrew Luck and tight end Coby Fleener both welcome the addition of Howell.
Undrafted last season, he spent most of the season on the practice squad of the Buffalo Bills.
Delano Howell and Caesar Raeford are preparing for the biggest game of their professional lives.

It's a risky proposition in a league where more than 700 players will be cut this weekend.

Howell competed in both football and track & field at Stanford University where he wore number 26 on the...
Rookie safety Delano Howell was signed to the Indianapolis Colts' active roster from the practice squad of the Buffalo Bills. Howell entered the league as an undrafted free agent from Stanford. He played in one game with the Bills and was waived, then re-signed, twice. Offensive guard Seth Olsen was cleared to return to practice, but remains on injured reserve. Olsen has...

While the Buffalo Bills have greatly improved their depth going into the 2012 season, there are a few positions where they still might not yet be safely situated.
One of those positions is safety, where two veterans are backed up by a group of mostly unproven first- and second-year players. Jairus Byrd and George Wilson a the established starters. Behind Byrd at free safety entering...
