Lions' defense forces turnover, offense can't capitalize
Dewayne White's return to the lineup has been pretty quiet until now. But a third-down blitz by cornerback Phillip Buchanon forced a sack-fumble on Carson Palmer, and White, who had good pressure off the left end, scooped up the fumble and was tackled at the 50-yard line.

NFL trade deadline: Move along, nothing to see here
As expected, the NFL trade deadline was a huge nothing for the Lions. No moves were made today. Zip. Zero. Nada. As far as we know, the Lions were not involved in any trade talks, of any kind.
The only player movement involving Detroit didn't involve the deadline at all, as the Dolphins signed away the Lions' 7th round draft pick, OT Lydon Murtha, off of the practice squad...
