The Cincinnati Reds have signed catcher Dioner Navarro to a minor league deal Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports. Navarro will earn $800k in the majors and can earn an additional $200k in incentives.
Navarro hit .193 in his second stint with the Dodgers last season. He was designated for assignment by the Dodgers on August 23 as a result of his poor work ethic.

In a move that should make Javier Valentin fans pretty happy, the Reds have signed catcher Dioner Navarro.

SoSG Road Trip: St. Louis (Part 3: Inside Busch Stadium, Before Everyone Else)
By this time, having hung out for about a half-hour on the field, we were advised by Jim Pool (our Cardinals staff friend) that the teams wouldn't start coming out for batting practice for another 30 minutes. So we decided to do a lap around Busch Stadium now, instead of just waiting there.
