Phoenix Suns release Dionte Christmas

The Phoenix Suns ended Christmas early this summer by waiving fan and locker room favorite Dionte Christmas. Christmas was on a non-guaranteed contract for the upcoming 2014-2015 season. Suns players buying what Jeff Hornacek brings to court

Suns coach Jeff Hornacek has the ears of his players. He told them repeatedly since training camp that every player has a chance at a role and that wins were going to have come by a collaborative effort. The Suns believed in Hornacek, but not as much as when he showed it to them in Friday night’s win over Utah. It was more than Hornacek just keeping confidence in Eric Bledsoe...

Dionte Christmas back in the NBA?

Our old friend Dionte Christmas has a chance to make a roster spot this up and coming season. I wish it was with the Celtics. Last summer, playing for the Celtics, he averaged 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in Las Vegas, while averaging 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in Orlando Summer League. I wanted us to keep him, but with the Courtney Lee trade, we ended up releasing...

Video: Boston Celtics 2012-2013 Bloopers and Funny Moments

I was hard pressed to find a lot of funny moments for the Boston Celtics' blooper reel this season without our past team clowns like Big Baby, Nate Robinson, Shaq, and Mickael Pietrus. But there were a fair share of silly moments that included both Celtics newcomers and vets. This year's video includes appearances from NBA vets like Paul Pierce nearly losing his shorts while...

Your Morning Dump… Where borders will not restrain Danny Ainge’s PG search

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. “All three of them are real blows to us,” said Ainge. “First of all, we lose our star player and then Jared and then Barbosa. That’s devastating. We’re short on guards now, and we have to bring someone...
