The Charlotte Bobcats have lost Eduardo Najera for the next 6-8 weeks
The Charlotte Bobcats have lost 35-year old forward Eduardo Najera for the next 6-8 weeks due to knee surgery. Najera played in 31 games (0 starts) for the Bobcats last year and he averaged 12.0 minutes, 2.2 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game. The Bobcats are losing players left and right to injury, so even the loss of Najera is going to hurt the team when the 2011-12 season starts.

Observer NBA writer Rick Bonnell looks at the Bobcats' likely depth chart.
Center: Boris Diaw (projected starter). Reserves Gana Diop, Eduardo Najera and (yet unsigned) Bismack Biyombo. Comment: Far from ideal. Diaw is playing out of position. Diop needs to lose 25 pounds. Najera and Biyombo are not really centers by NBA dimensions.
