Bobcats Insider: Worst record, top pick?
The Bobcats are careening toward the worst record in the NBA, but that doesn't guarantee the top pick in the 2012 draft. Under rules of the draft lottery, the worst team is guaranteed no worse than the fourth pick.
In seven previous NBA drafts, the Bobcats' highest picks have been second (Emeka Okafor, via trade with the Clippers in 2005) and third (Adam Morrison). Okafor...

JUST HOW THEY DREW IT UP
Okafor drills ridiculous bank shot to force OT
On the same night when UConn defeated San Diego State to advance to the Elite 8, former Connecticut standout Emeka Okafor was busy making highlights of his own. Okafor, who isn't exactly known for his offensive abilities, hit an amazing game-tying buzzer beater in Utah to send last night's Hornets-Jazz game into overtime. Okafor's Hornets capitalized on the shot, eventually winning...

Emeka Okafor Blocks Tiago Splitter’s Dunk, Steps On His Soul
Emeka Okafor blocked, with authority, Tiago Splitter’s dunk attempt with 15 seconds to go which gave the New Orleans Hornets another shot at erasing the Spurs 102-100 lead. The Hornets were able to tie it up but unfortunately for them Tim Duncan nailed a running hook with 1.4 seconds left and the Hornets were handed an eighth straight loss, 104-102.

Kobe shows Hornets he still has hops
Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant dunks on New Orleans Hornets center Emeka Okafor in Game 5 of their first round NBA Playoffs series. As Reggie points out, what problem with his ankle? I haven’t seen Kobe rock swomeone to the core like that for a few years now. That is some Lower Marion goodness right there.

Several Rituals That Get Emeka Okafor Back On The Court
Your voodoo doll people...
Over the past week or so New Orleans Hornets fans have been getting restless at the sight of no Emeka Okafor in the starting lineup. After suffering an abdominal injury the big-man’s presence has been lacking and the team has in turn gone on a sour losing streak. At the beginning of the season it seemed a mildly humorous thought that we’d all be this...

VIDEO: Emeka Okafor’s Ridiculous Bank-Shot Buzzer-Beater is a Must See
Is ridiculous even the right word to use there? Maybe transcendental, sublime, or even scrumtrulescent would’ve been a more apt adjective to use to describe Hornets forward Emeka Okafor’s buzzer-beating circus shot against the Utah Jazz.
Here’s the situation—Paul Milsap’s pair of free throws put Utah up 105-103 with 1.3 ticks left on the clock. New...

Emeka Okafor Is Definitely Living Right
There isn’t any real way to explain this shot from Emeka Okafor that sent the Hornets’ game against the Jazz into overtime. But he’s a try:
The man barely gets the ball in his hand, flips it toward the basketball, and it goes in. Oh, and from about half court.
As for the game the Hornets went on to win 121-117. Good living.

Dunk Of The Night: Kobe Disrespects Emeka Okafor
Bad ankle and all, Kobe Bryant, as Shannon Brown put it, went vintage “afro” Kobe last night when he dunked on the Hornets Emeka Okafor. In his post game press conference, Kobe said he doesn’t have to many of these left in him so he saves them.
I bet Emeka wishes he would’ve kept that one to himself. DAMN Kobe!! The Lakers win 106-90 and take a 3-2 lead...
