Eric Snow nodding off during game?

The 76ers may not be the most exciting team in the league but there's no reason for their former point guard/current play-by-play man to doze off in the middle of the action.

Did Sixers Announcer Eric Snow Fall Asleep During Game? (Video)

At 27-29, the Philadelphia 76ers probably aren’t the most exciting team to watch in the NBA.  Fans undoubtedly have trouble getting behind the Sixers, but their broadcast team is supposed to always remain interested, right?  Apparently not.  It seems Philly announcer Eric Snow has about as much interest in the Sixers as Howie Rose has [...]

VIDEO: Eric Snow falls asleep during broadcast

I’m willing to give Eric Snow the benefit of the doubt here. It’s not exactly thrilling basketball when the Rockets and the Sixers get together. But at the very least, I expect some professionalism with regards to grammar. Garbling words nonsensically like you’re Serene Branson at the Grammy’s just isn’t acceptable. Then again, maybe Snow had a complex migraine.

Philadelphia 76ers Former Guard Eric Snow Now Color Analyst

Sixers.com reports that Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia has signed former Philadelphia 76ers guard Eric Snow as a color analyst. A very appreciative Eric Snow was reported as remarking the following: “I’m very happy and excited to be re-joining the Sixers family as a part of their broadcast team.  I spent my best and most enthusiastic years of my NBA career with this...

Eric Snow to Head Coach the Bulls?

We all know that Eric Snow will make one heck of a coach some day, but it appears Chicago thinks that day is now.

Should The Sixers Fire Basketball Analyst Eric Snow?

I was on 610-WIP earlier this morning and was asked by Angelo Cataldi about Philadelphia 76ers basketball analyst Eric Snow going to sleep on the air. The morning talk show host asked me if I thought Snow should be fired for going to sleep on the air. I told him I didn’t think so, but [...]

Today in Philly Sports History: E Snow's Triple-Double, 2003

Point guard Eric Snow played a whole lot of games in the NBA--452 for the 76ers, 846 in all--but in only one of those games did he accomplish what he did for the Sixers on February 26th, 2003. Tangling with the Memphis Grizzlies at the First Union Center, E Snow went 22 points, 11 rebounds and ten assists, mostly up against Memphis's Jason Williams. It was Snow's first-ever...

Eric Snow New Sixers Color Analyst

I like it. Eric Snow is knowledgeable, has experience both with the Sixers and with other teams and he isn’t as bubbly as Pinckney was.  He should be a good contrast working allowing side Mark Zumoff. The thing I want from the color analyst is simply to talk about the game and don’t state the obvious. Mix in relevant stories from your past and be honest. Too much to...

Why Do Cavs Fans Insist On Giving Snow A Ring?

Yes, Eric Snow was an emotional leader for the Cavaliers in recent seasons. He bonded with the citizens of Cleveland and their team, helping take a budding LeBron James under his guidance and showing him how to lead his teammates by example. All of those traits have been good things for the Cavs, but they [...]

Asleep in the Snow

Narcolepsy? Zen student? Former Cav Eric Snow always said he wanted to be a commentator when he grew up. The Sixers gave him a shot and apparently he lost a lot of sleep in the process. From FanShots:

A Tribute to Eric Snow

With the Indians struggling, and the Cavaliers anxiously waiting for their big game on Sunday against those dreaded Celtics, I would like to touch base on something that got very little air time here earlier in the week. Last Sunday, April 5, Eric Snow’s career ended with the Cavaliers, as the team was finally able to [...]

Eric Snow, Sixers Broadcaster, Falls Asleep During Game

by Michael Katz This is the one where a bunch of people who have not watched Philadelphia this season make jokes about how boring it is to watch the pathetic Sixers -- a mere 26-13 in their last 39 games -- play basketball. You see, their announcer Eric Snow -- who was once a chill bro who chilled with LeBron -- appears to have fallen asleep during a recent game against the Houston...

Video: Sixers analyst falls asleep during game

It doesn't just stop with season-weary players and coaches. Announcers are ready for the All-Star break as well. Some could barely make it out of the last half-week of the season before sneaking in a long-deserved snooze. Like former Philadelphia 76ers point guard, and current 76ers analyst Eric Snow. A good minute into the video (we skipped it ahead for you), you can hear Sixers...

Even Sixers Broadcaster Eric Snow Can't Stay Awake For An Entire Sixers Game

Eric Snow, Comcast SportsNet's color analyst for the Sixers, seemed to drift off in the middle of the Philadelphia-Houston game last night. 7th & Pattison recorded the moment for our scrutiny: with just a few minutes remaining in the second quarter, Snow seems to bail on his play-by-play man, Marc Zumoff. After a few seconds of silence, Zumoff asks Snow, "You meditating?" Snow...

The Philadelphia 76ers: A Team Playing as One

The crack in the Liberty Bell seems just a tiny bit smaller. The NBA is relevant again in Philadelphia. The Sixers (6-2) are off to a fast start, the best since they reeled off an effortless ten in a row to start the 2000-01 season. All Sixer fans remember that year. I was in High School watching Eric Snow running the point, Allen Iverson running the show, and Dikembe Mutombo growling...
