10 Down, 2 1 To Go
I'm bumping a little classic rock--Canned Heat's "On the Road Again," The Who's "Emminence Front," Z.Z. Top's "La Grange," etc...hell, I'd get along with some of you old-timers--because I'm going into tailgate mode. For all intents and purposes, the Chiefs are one Glenn Dorsey signature away form having all their ...

Al Davis's mandate was Darren McFadden: Thoughts from a Reader's Side
The Raiders picked Darren McFadden, and there have been several questions from you guys in the comment box about why the Raiders picked McFadden with Glenn Dorsey still on the board. In fact, that was the first thing I thought as well. Spencer Mills aka OakFoSho of The Cold Shoulder, the SJ Sharks MVN site, fame has written his thoughts on why it was Al Davis's mandate to pick Darren McFadden.

Dorsey to Falcons?
There is a rumor out there folks, one that says that the Chiefs and the Falcons aren’t quite finished setting the NFL on it’s ear. The rumor has the Falcons giving up their 24th overall selection in Saturdays draft for the guy I thought the Falcons were going to pick last year in Glenn Dorsey.

Darren McFadden a loyal Patriot next year???
What do you guys think about the draft??? I have seen a lot of drafts having Glenn Dorsey as the number 1 pick. I would not mind that at all, and I am also hoping The 49ers do very poor the rest of the season so they can get the number 2 pick and picking up Darren McFadden. That would be awesome, and there would be a pats jersey on me every sunday next year.

ESPN's Chadiha On Potential Dorsey-Peterson Contract Battle
Brace yourselves, Chiefs fans, you're not going to like this. From ESPN:
Jeffri Chadiha: Last year, No. 1 pick JaMarcus Russell staged a lengthy holdout and never was a factor during the season. Which rookie is most likely to fill that role in 2008?
Kansas City defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey. This one ...

2008 NFL Mock Draft V 1.1
Team
1st Round
1. Miami Dolphins - DT Glenn Dorsey, LSU
The Dolphins need more than just a DT, but they can only pick one player here. Dorsey is their man. He could fill a void at DT for the next 8-10 years. This would be the choice for the Dolphins unless they decide to move back and acquire...

Howard Balzer Would Not Draft Glenn Dorsey
Today Stlsportsinsider posted what Howard Balzer thoughts are about the St. Louis Rams possibly drafting Glenn Dorsey. Nice to see someone that agrees with me. I have said all along that Dorsey is the biggest bust risk in the draft at the top. A 300 pounder with knee problems and playing on astroturf...

NFL mock draft: Rounds 1-4
Many throughout the season projected LSU DT Glenn Dorsey as the #1 overall pick in April's NFL Draft. Then that man was USC DT Sedrick Ellis, who proved to be unstoppable in the Senior Bowl. Now the guy at the top of many mock drafts is Virginia DE Chris Long, son of Howie and purveyor of QB nightmares.
"Long can play in any scheme. He has more experience in the 3-4...

Dorsey Holdout Day One
As the Chiefs showed up in River Falls yesterday they were short one massive passenger. Glen Dorsey's hold out becomes official at 9:00 a.m. The important thing is that this does not become a distraction. Luckily for the Chiefs DT is a position where you can just step in and play. There is no defensive plays to learn for Glenn. His main job 99% of the time is going to be to smash...
