PGA Tour Pro calls out Patrick Reed for withdrawing

Graham DeLeat is one of the big hitters in golf and apparently has big enough balls to call out his peers. DeLeat took to Twitter to talk about his disgust with Patrick Reed withdrawing from the Farmers Insurance Open. Many players stayed in the tournament despite the horrendous weather at Torrey Pines while Reed withdrew which is why DeLeat was upset. Does anyone have Pat Reed’s...

Regular tour is a different tune from Ryder, Presidents Cups

NAPA, Calif. (AP) Those traveling, song-loving ''Fanatics'' at the Presidents Cup had no trouble finding the right tune for Branden Grace, with a slight change of lyrics. ''Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved his best for me.'' That he did. The 27-year-old spark plug from South Africa was at his best for the International team all week at the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea...

Canadian golfer Graham DeLaet took off for Scotland on Saturday, ready to take on the world’s best golfers and win this weekend’s The Open Championship at St. Andrews. Irish airline Aer Lingus got DeLaet to his destination safe and sound. Too bad they couldn’t do the same for his golf clubs. When the 33-year-old DeLaet landed in Scotland, he soon realized the airline lost his...

PGA golfer has clubs lost by airline on way to British Open

By Steve DelVecchio PGA golfer Graham DaLaet had to borrow a set of clubs to play a practice round at St. Andrews on Monday morning. He can thank Aer Lingus for that. Apparently the Ireland-based airline lost DaLaet’s clubs, and it sounds like he was not given much information regarding their whereabouts. Ok @AerLingus, enough is enough. I kind of need my golf clubs for @TheOpen...

Risk and Reward - RBC Canadian Open

I've just noticed that I don't have any Canadians in my Power Rankings. I didn't intentionally do this, and it wasn't meant as a slight toward the United States' northern neighbors, but there just weren't any playing well enough statistically to justify a place. To be fair, no Canadian has won the Canadian Open for the last sixty years. That's sixty, with a zero. I'll be fixing that...

Risk and Reward - The Travelers Championship

Risk and reward is the maxim by which many play golf. Hit a snap hook into the forest? Chances are, most will consider wedging back out to the fairway, but proceed to try to hit a high draw through that tiny opening in the trees. At least, that's how I land so many double-bogeys on my card. In fantasy golf, the same concept exists. Take Matt Kuchar this week, for instance. He's almost...
