The deal that the company signs with legends enables them to control what media appearances the performers make. A fan on Twitter recently asked the Honky Tonk Man if he was going to be doing house shows for WWE. Rather than saying no, the former Intercontinental Champion replied, "Not yet." Normally, that would be dismissed, but the Honky Tonk Man signed a contract with WWE recently. Plus, the company is currently using Road Dogg and Billy Gunn as performers during their European tour.

He's still traveling to shows and conventions, but it's nowhere near the schedule he had when he worked for WWE and WCW.
