Denver Has The Need For Speed!
Do you remember the good old days. When Al Wilson, Ian Gold, and John Mobley were the fastest trio of linebackers in the league? When Champ Bailey was the quickest corner and the defensive ...Read the full article on Bleacher Report...

When Joe Gibbs Faced Mike Shanahan
Writing over at the Redskins.com mothership, Larry Weisman notes that Joe Gibbs and Mike Shanahan are "two of a kind," and recounts this exchange from today's joint media availability:
"I wouldn't give him any advice," Gibbs said. "Mike's a proven product in the NFL. You know what's exciting is he's got a formula, a scheme, he's been...

Week 5 Aftermath
BRONCOS 21-REDSKINS 19. I am both disappointed and optimistic. For one month now, I've heard about how lucky my Redskins were. Beating the Bad Bears by 2. Pulling a 1-pt game out of our butts in Dallas. Having a missed FG by Seattle send a game into overtime that we ended up winning. When hearing all of this, I just nodded and said "well, a win is a win" but deep...

Ian Gold is not Brett Favre
Longtime Denver Broncos linebacker Ian Gold is retiring from the NFL, but before he leaves, he's got this to say:
"When people here I'm retiring, they're going to be like, 'Ian who?. But I'm all right with that," Gold said.
"I've had some people say to me, 'You're retiring?', and they think it's crazy," Gold said. "...

Broncos Ready For Big Day
I could not be more excited for the Broncos to?start camp. It's almost like when you tell?a 4 year-old?that his/her birthday is in three days.?The child knows that?the big event is?coming, but?the?balloons, cake, and presents feel so?far?away. Let's hope that the Broncos balloons (rookies that could float?away), cake (Jay Cutler's sweet arm), and presents (new addition...

Training Camp 2008: Breakdown of the Saints Weakside Linebackers
2007 Summary:
Scott Shanle did such a great job in 2006 that he got a nice contract before the 2007 season. Unfortunately, his tackle totals went down and had no sacks (3 in 2006) in 2007. Shanle had a tendency to disappear in games. Some could attribute it to bad D-line play, but then why didn't Fujita's numbers go down? Some could attribute it to a change in scheme...
