Video: Patrick Elias hit into stanchion ☆

The Devils lost Patrick Elias, Adam Henrique and Jacob Josefson to injuries when they took on the Capitals on Friday night. The most cringe-worthy of the bunch had to be Elias’ as he was hit into one of the stanchions separating the benches by Washington’s Tom Wilson. The stanchions are now padded after a few scary incidents over the past few years, but this is still a tough video to watch.

As short season nears, Devils search for offense

The Devils need the ones that cross the line, ripple the nets and get fans out of their seats. Truth be told, they don't know who is going to produce them.
