Sacramento Kings: how they attacked the offseason

DeMarcus Cousins Last season the Sacramento Kings failed to make the playoffs. The Kings have been fairly irrelevant since their Chris Webber days. Since they drafted DeMarcus Cousins back in 2010, the Kings have had the potential to be a playoff team, they just never got the pieces they needed to make the playoffs. Sacramento may have had the potential, but because they were in...

Sacramento Kings continue to be an utter disaster

The Sacramento Kings are not having a good last few weeks. What with All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins demanding a trade, owner Vivek Ranadive publicly feuding with his head coach and vice president of basketball operations Vlade Divac making an underwhelming draft pick, things haven’t been swell in Sactown. Now the team’s strategy for free agency has gone completely off the rails...

The 3-Ball & This 76ers’ Roster

Yesterday on Philly.com there was a story by Joe Juliano about the 76ers their struggles from behind the 3-point.  In the article/post coach Brown basically acknowledged that the Sixers don’t have the shooters to be successful from deep, but also noted that he will continue to encourage this roster to hoist up 3-point attempts. Here are a couple of interesting quotes by Brown...

Where Will the Scoring & Wins Come From?

The possibility of a fewer wins in the 2014-15 season for the 76ers has become a harsh reality in the recent weeks.  The departure of Thaddeus Young has put this team in a spot where in addition to scoring and defense, reliability and leadership have now been added to list of major concerns for this 2014-15 roster.  For most of 2013-14, players such as Young (17.9 PPG), Evan...

San Antonio Spurs: Sign James Anderson?

San Antonio Spurs: Sign James Anderson? By Mike Elworth: Owner and Publisher/Hoopstuff.. The San Antonio Spurs are the best team in the NBA, there is no questioning that. They will have basically the same roster this season as their title winning squad, but with the injury to Patty Mills who will miss half the season, they should sign another guard. There happens to be a guard...

Philadelphia 76ers: What Should Be Their Starting 5?

Philadelphia 76ers: What Should Be Their Starting 5? By Ciaran Mills: Staff Writer A Hoopstuff… The Philadelphia 76ers certainly have plenty of individuals to choose from to be in their starting 5. Unfortunately for them, the talent on their roster isn’t strong and it is hard to even pick the best starting 5 for them to win. PG – Michael Carter-Williams – There is no debate...

Filling Mr. Anderson’s Shoes

On Monday the 76ers announced that Sam Hinkie had decided to waive shooting guard James Anderson bringing an end to his predictable time in a Sixers uniform.  The Sixers claimed Anderson off of waivers on July 16, 2013 and at the time he was hailed as an undervalued talent who owned a lethal jumper from deep.  Most of that turned out to be false. Anderson appeared in 80 games...

Philadelpia 76ers Take Season Series Against Boston Celtics

By: Miles Montgomery Alex Trautwig/Getty Images The Boston Celtics have experienced some pretty tough losses during the 2013 season, but Monday night’s road loss to the Philadelphia 76ers served as a very devastating defeat. The game featured scoring runs by both teams and several lead changes before Philadelphia came through with the victory 113-108 at home after a controversial...

James Anderson couldn’t hang with Kevin Durant
