Panthers Sign TE Jamie Petrowski
The Carolina Panthers have signed tight end Jamie Petrowski. Petrowski was with the Indianapolis Colts but the team released him at the beginning of May. He missed the entire season last year after he suffered a foot injury in the pre-season that required Lisfranc surgery.

This is kind of old news. But it’s still good to report it.

The Indianapolis Colts cut tight end Jamie Petrowski and defensive end Rudolph Hardie, neither of whom has appeared in an NFL game. Petrowski is a Terre Haute native who played at Indiana State. He signed with the Colts in January 2009 but missed the season with a foot injury.

Titans Dump 8 To Get Roster at 54
The Titans are down to 54 players on their roster after they let the following go today: S Calvin Lowry, WR Biren Ealy, and DT Antonio Johnson have been released. Titans offseason positional review - tight ends
The tight end position was utilized more often when Mike Heimerdinger was in his first stint with the Titans but things are different now. Frank Wycheck and Erron Kinney, two guys who you could count on, are retired. The Dinger won't find as much talent on hand now and the Titans are in dire need of an upgrade for the position group...
