Kyle Clifford accidentally kicks Jason Zucker in the face

Jason Zucker took out Kyle Clifford’s legs and was handed a two-minute penalty for tripping. As Clifford fell to the ice, his skates flew up and crashed against Zucker’s face. The situation looked grim, but remarkably Zucker escaped a serious injury and returned to the ice later in the game. That was a close shave. (We’ll show ourselves the door)

Wild’s Jason Zucker Takes Skate To The Face, Escapes Without Injury (GIF)

Jason Zucker is a lucky man. The Minnesota Wild forward narrowly avoided a significant injury Sunday afternoon at the Staples Center after he was whistled for a tripping penalty. The scene on the ice could have been much, much worse, though, as the skate of Los Angeles Kings forward Kyle Clifford struck Zucker in the face on the play. Fortunately, it looks like Clifford’s blade...

Simon Despres vs James Van RiemsdykOct 11, 2014 3pd 19:272014-2015 Regular SeasonNot much of a battle but I'm liking this mean streak Despres has been on. After winning a preseason bout with Jason Zucker Despres took matters into his own hands after JVR sat on him after a lazy hit. JVR is not much of a scrapper and I think Despres was counting on it after getting hit with 3...

Minnesota Wild: Why Jason Zucker should be traded

Throughout his short career with the Minnesota Wild, Jason Zucker has found himself on the wrong side of a lineup that is continually getting better each year. Additions in free agency, trades and the growing maturity of other players his age have caused him to be overlooked in many situations. Add in the fact that his once and by some accounts still potentially budding career has...
