Steelers sign RB Jawan Jamison

The Steelers have made a change to their RB corps, signing Jawan Jamison and waving Alvester Alexander, the club announced Friday. A 2013 seventh-round pick of Washington, the 23-year-old Jamison spent most of last season on the Redskins’ practice squad, then was promoted to the roster for the final three games. The Washington Redskins released Adam Carriker, Jawan Jamison, Davin Meggett, Richard Quinn and Sav Rocca. The moves were made primarily to save money.
