The Dallas Cowboys have signed former LSU Tigers full back J.C. Copeland.
Copeland stands 5-foot-11 and weights in at 270 pounds. Good for short yardage situations, Copeland is not much of a receiver. His best asset has been his ability as a lead blocker.
Previous reports had Copeland signing with the Cincinnati Bengals but they appear to be false now.
The Cowboys worked the phones , and have added more bodies in preparation to the Rookie Mini-camp next week. Several players have gone to twitter to announce their signings with the Cowboys. Here is a list of some of the undrafted rookie free agents so far.
Ben Melena, RB, Texas A&M
J.C. Copeland, FB, LSU
L’Damian Washington, WR, Missouri
Proud DALLAS COWBOY!!
The Cowboys have signed the huge FB from LSU, J.C. Copeland. The Cowboys will bring him in for a look see, and see if he can supplant current FB Tyler Clutts.
Copeland is a true FB, and could be just what the Cowboys will be looking for to go along with the new look offensive line.
I’m going to be a #Cowboys #CowboysNation

The 2014 NFL Combine ends today, and LSU had another impressive turnout. While most players did little to improve their draft status, a couple stood out and just about everyone else stayed even. Here are the results:

There are seven rounds in the NFL Draft, which are composed of only about 224 picks. That means 224 men are about to have their lives completely change. On January 18th, 2014, the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl was held in front of more than 140 NFL scouts. About 100 men battled for 60 minutes to show their best play. These are some men who stood out.
