Bloggers Takeover 2: Cirillo’s Revenge

The Bloggers Takeover is returning. Last year, myself along with Brady from Lobshots and David, Mike and Geoff Young from Padres Public, took over the 5th, 6th and 7th innings for the  the “napping” Mark Sweeney and Mike Pomeranz. This year I will be the lone Padres Public representative, but will also be joined by the returning Brady, Dex from Gaslamp Ball and Steve from Friarhood...

Brewers Show Good Taste in Mostly Superb 2014 Promos

So the Brewers announced specifics on their 2014 promo items for all-fan giveaways the other day, and I’m mostly impressed.  After sporting 10 all-fan bobbles in 2013, it was hard to imagine topping that many dolls in future years.  I’m happy to see they’ve decided to give something else away and reduce down to eight all-fan bobbles; 14 bobbleheads would’ve been overkill...

Mariners we have loved to hate in Seattle

Get outta here ya bum! You wouldn’t think a fan base like the Seattle Mariners – who is constantly accused of being too nice to their club — would have many villains. After doing a little research, I now have a pretty good idea – it turns out the Brewers...

Huh?! Really?! That Guy?!

Well, the 2013 baseball Hall of Fame votes are in, and on January 9th we will know who will be inducted into the Hall of Fame this upcoming July. Now this is certainly a big year for controversy on the ballot as the big names in the PED era are front and foremost. Bonds, Clemens, Sosa and Palmiero, to be precise and name a few. And of course Dale Murphy and Jack Morris are always...

Cooperstown Choices: Jeff Cirillo

With the Hall Of Fame election announcement coming on January 9, 2013, it is time to review the ballot, go over the names, and decide who belongs in the Hall Of Fame. There are twenty four men on the ballot for the first time this year and we will take a look at each one individually prior to official announcements. You can find all of the profiles in the I-70 Baseball Exclusives...
