Florida Gators 2013 Forecast: Scattered Wins In Sunshine State
Allegations by Mike McNeil, former Auburn football player, against head coach Will Muschamp must be a distraction of magnitude. McNeil accused Muschamp of paying him underneath the table while at Auburn, in the amount of $400. Most Gator fans would like to wash this story away, but this question of integrity will always loom in the back of Muschamps' mind. If other accusations...

If Florida wants to win the SEC East, its offense has to take a step forward in 2013. The Gators ranked last in the SEC in passing offense last...
Gators offensive coordinator Brent Pease gets raise
Florida's offense struggled at times under new offensive coordinator Brent Pease in 2012, but the Gators made significant improvement, winning 11 games. Pease has in turn received a considerable raise - 100,000.
He also has received a one-year extension and is now under contract through 2015, the Palm Beach Post reported.
The Gators had just 13 passing touchdowns as Jeff Driskel...
University of Florida's Brent Pease uses Harry Potter to push Gator QB's (Picture)
It's not often that the words University of Florida and Harry Potter are used in the same sentence but thanks to UF football offensive coordinator Brent Pease, it has happened.
Back on Wednesday, Pease posted a rather unique photo of the Gators quarterbacks Jeff Driskel and Tyler Murphy with everyone's favorite wizard:

Jeff Driskel Forgot That His Offensive Coordinator Is Also On Twitter
Florida’ quarterback Jeff Driskel tossed out a very innocent Tweet on Saturday simply saying that he was ‘bored.’ Well, someone is always watching in a public forum such as Twitter, and that someone this time was Jeff’s offensive coordinator Brent Pease. Brent’s response was priceless.

Murphy encouraging Driskel
He’s waited his time, and junior quarterback Tyler Murphy is willing to wait some more. More important to him than playing right now is winning football games and the staff at Florida has designated junior Jeff Driskel as the starter again. Now, he finds himself in a battle for back up duty and the guy that has to be ready in case Driskel goes down. Murphy seems prepared for whatever happens.
Gators QB Jeff Driskel Needs to Watch his Tweets
A lot of college teams have banned their players from Twitter and with good reason. Too many kids tend to tweet without thinking (or while drinking) and fail to realize that there are thousands of people watching their every tweet. Any and every misstep is caught, retweeted, and used as fodder for late night jokes and bloggers everywhere.
So it is easy to see why coaches...
Florida OC Has Funny Response For QB On Twitter
USA TODAY Sports
For athletes with Twitter, the rule always goes: think before you tweet, especially if your coach can see what you’re writing. That’s what happened to Florida Gators quarterback Jeff Driskel on Saturday, saying that he was bored, which led to this response from his offensive coordinator Brent Pease:

Jeff Driskel was bored, so Brent Pease sent him a great tweet
Florida Gators quarterback Jeff Driskel tweeted Saturday that he was bored, so his offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Brent Pease sent him a fantastic tweet in response:

My guess is Driskel is either going to block Pease on Twitter, or reconsider tweeting anything about being bored in the future.

Gators will work on passing game in spring
GAINESVILLE, Fla. Now that Gators offensive coordinator Brent Pease has had time to review and reflect upon his first season, he realizes there were times last season when young quarterbacks Jeff Driskel and Jacoby Brissett may not have grasped as much as they let on.

Florida Gators spring preview: QBs and RBs
GAINESVILLE, Fla. The biggest question mark the Gators faced entering spring practice a year ago was who would start at quarterback.
A year later that question is near the bottom of head coach Will Muschamps concerns.
Junior Jeff Driskel is the starter.
Period.
I certainly think thats a strength of our team, Muschamp said recently.

Driskel, Gators upset by Louisville 33-23 in Sugar
Jeff Driskel's throw on the first play of the Sugar Bowl was slightly behind receiver Andre Debose, and he could only tip the ball. Louisville cornerback Terell Floyd was right there for the rebound, and turned it into a 38-yard interception return for a touchdown.
It never got much better for heavily favored Florida in what was supposed to be the crowning game in a bounce-back...
Teddy Bridgewater to Will Muschamp: Should Have Picked Me over Jeff Driskel
So far in the first half of the Allstate Sugar Bowl, Florida coach Will Muschamp must be kicking himself. Driskel would welcome Tebow-like Sugar Bowl
NEW ORLEANS -- As far as goodbyes go, former Gators quarterback Tim Tebow went out in style three years ago here in the Sugar Bowl.
Jeff Driskel hopes to say goodbye to his first season as Florida's starting quarterback in memorable fashion, too.

Season of improvement for Driskel
Florida quarterback Jeff Driskel went into preseason camp fighting for a starting job. He’ll line up under center on Wednesday to quarterback a BCS game. The sophomore’s transformation from beginning to end of the year is one offensive coordinator Brent Pease is proud of, but he’s even more excited for the two years Driskel has left on campus, as he continues to develop at the position.
Driskel using bowl practice to his advantage
Being away from the practice field gave Florida quarterback Jeff Driskel some time to reflect. He was able to think back over his first regular season as a starter and find some areas that needed to improve. It wasn’t always easy to do that during the season. The constant week-to-week grind of game plans dominated his mind during the season, but he’s using bowl practice to improve...
