Drake Weaver Newest Addition to Dodger Family
With all that was going on this morning (Photo Day, eye exams, uniform sizing, lab work), the best moment of the day came when Dodger hurler Jeff Weaver returned to camp with news of a happy, healthy baby boy named Drake. Drake was born on Wednesday, Feb. 24 and weighed in at exactly eight pounds on the nose.

Dodgers are considering Jeff Weaver
According to Jon Heyman of Sports Illustrated, the Los Angeles Dodgers are considering bringing back veteran right handed pitcher Jeff Weaver.
Weaver, was 5-1 with a 6.09 ERA and 26 SO in 44.1 innings throughout 43 games. The 34-year old right hander, has been around the Majors for 11 seasons, he has pitched for the Dodgers, Tigers, Yankees, Angels, Cardinals and Mariners.

After Manny left last night’s game @ Cincinnati with a calf injury, the Dodgers decided to place him on the 15-day DL effective today. The news couldn’t come at a worse time.
