As Boise State's 2011-2012 basketball team is dominated by younger players, it's fitting that freshman Joe Hanstad led the Broncos to their first MWC win. Boise State shocked an Air Force team that had defeated the Broncos by 15 points last month.
Joe Hanstad scored a career-high 19 points in the first start of his Bronco career, freshman Anthony Drmic recorded his first-career double-double and Boise State earned its first conference victory.
