Sure, The NBA is Back, but How Does it Affect the Cavs?
The National Basketball Association took the “11th hour” cliché to a whole new meaning this past weekend when a deadline deal to have basketball on Christmas Day leaked into the early hours of Saturday morning. In principle, what we are left with is a season of NBA hoops, albeit a shortened one, that will include all of the bells and whistles of it’s regular brethren including...

Re-Sign or Release: Joey Graham
Back in May, 2008, we featured a little series called “Re-Sign or Release” where we went through every player on the Cavaliers roster and turned to the readers to see what they would do if they were the general manager of the Wine and Gold and – hypothetically, of course – all of the players were up to have their respective contracts renewed.

Change Reigns Supreme as Cavs Top LeBron’s Heat
Perhaps all the Cleveland Cavaliers needed was some change.
A starting five featuring three players who had never suited up along side LeBron James. Rather than pregame hugs and handshakes, the sellout crowd at Quicken Loans Arena needed a self-proclaimed King to skip out on pregame introductions, only to come back on to the floor when the lights had gone dim.
Instead of former...

With 1.4 seconds remaining on the clock, Daniel Gibson ran off of a screen and was open in the near-side corner. Teammate Joey Graham hit him with the pass, Gibson squared, released and watched.
In what could have been slow motion, the ball rotated perfectly, was in line, but caught just enough of the back of the rim and bounced out. The end result was a New Jersey Nets win...
