The Cavaliers beat the Heat tonight in overtime, 122-119, but that’s not important. What is important is what it looked like. Most notably, check out this dunk LeBron James put on his old teammates.
Here’s what the WFNY crew and others were saying about the game as it happened.
no one has. for good reason. cavs sucked. RT @EddieSportas Jon Barry has never watched Dion Waiters...
It’s not uncommon to hear a fanbase complain that a particular announcer/broadcaster/analyst is biased against their favorite team. For years, Laker fans have complained about Jon Barry’s bias against his former team (for the record, Barry pretty much hates anyone who is good at basketball not named LeBron James), but have never done more than complain on the matter.

Jon Barry on a hot Marc Gasol: That's "'bout four f*cking jumpers" he's knocked down. [Awful Announcing]**Follow us on Twitter, Subscribe by Email, View via Our Mobile Site, or Return Home
This F-bomb by Jon Barry during the Grizzlies-Bulls game is so casual, that if you were watching in real time you may have missed it.
It sure sounds like it! But as seemingly there always exists with these clips, there's just a little gray area that makes you wonder. Listen to this clip from last night's Bulls-Grizzlies game and it seems that Barry says Marc Gasol hits "four f---ing jumpers." Unless he pulled a Stephen A. Smith, I'm not sure what else he could have said. Maybe Barry was watching Sky Sports...

Take one look at the San Antonio Spurs' success well over the last decade, and you'd think it would be a free agent hot spot. Yet several players have spurned the Spurs for more lucrative offers or what they may have expected to be greener pastures elsewhere.
Some athletes never get the chance to play for the Spurs, and ESPN and ABC broadcaster Jon Barry, doesn't have to look...

San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich can be a very intimidating figure, as was apparent by his outburst and subsequent ejection during Friday night's ejection during the Spurs' home game versus the Portland Trailblazers.
But Popovich isn't just intimidating to game officials, sideline interviewers line up and take their turn with Popovich during the two-question, end of the...
Gregg Popovich is the master of trolling interviewers, and the announcers at ESPN will do anything they can to not be put in that line of fire. On Wednesday night when the Spurs took on the Jazz, ESPN announcers Dave Pasch and Jon Barry flipped a coin to see who would be sent into the lions den. Pasch drew the short end of the stick and his interview of Pop went about as well...
It's come to this. NBA announcers are now flipping coins to see who gets the distinguished honor of interviewing San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich. Last night Dave Pasch "won" the coin toss (or did he lose) with partner Jon Barry and was tasked with the scariest job in all of sports media. Well, that and sitting between Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith on First Take...
How unsettling is it to interview Gregg Popovich? It’s such a terrifying prospect that the ESPN announcers for the San Antonio Spurs-Utah Jazz game on Wednesday night actually flipped a coin to see who would be forced into the charade. Unfortunately for play-by-play announcer Dave Pasch, he lost the coin toss with Jon Barry and […]
Interviewing San Antonio Spurs Head Coach Gregg Popovich is not a very fun thing to do. The longtime leader of the team does what he has to do and makes himself available, but he is not very forthcoming or cooperative. You would almost think he was a mean guy (he just doesn't like interviews). It has to be frustrating to guys like Dave Pasch and Jon Barry, the analysts for Wednesday...
