Over the last couple of weeks, a lot of people have asked me both here and on Twitter why the Mets might be looking to trade Jon Niese; a young, inexpensive, high-ceiling left-handed pitcher who is under team control for another four years, especially with so much uncertainty in the rotation over the short-term?
