Jorge Julio Traded to Rockies for Byung-Hyun Kim
Thus completing the grossest trade ever. The Marlins rid themselves of the worst pitcher in the majors in Julio and get an equally overhyped, but slightly more effective pitcher in Kim.
I actually like what the Marlins did here. If they use Kim properly, he still has a lot of value. I wish they would just put him in middle relief, but he'll probably get a chance to start...

Jorge Julio: Not the Answer
Is there some hidden agenda amongst major league baseball teams that I'm not aware of that says Jorge Julio MUST be a closer? It's literally been 5 years, 2002, since Jorge Julio has been an effective closer. Last year was Julio's best season in the past half decade. He finished the year with an ERA of 3.83. Julio shouldn't even be in the majors right now, let alone closing.
