Someone please explain to me why Fogg isn't starting today? Wouldn't you think they would like to give Harang and Volquez an extra days rest considering what they did in San Diego on Sunday? At the very least you would think Fogg would start Friday.

*The Royals have several suitors interested in lefty reliever Ron Mahay. He is 4-0 with a 2.13 ERA. The Tigers, Yanks, Red Sox, Marlins and Rays are all interested in relief help but the Royals don't seem anxious to deal him. It will take a lot but the above mentioned contenders...

Part of me didn't expect Thompson to get called up for the game Saturday, but after Dusty's quote about not being able to tell us who is starting Saturday it made it a little obvious.

* It's in Yankee...

I bet Fogg and his agent wish they didn't decline the Rockies original offer of a one year, $5 million contract. Fogg had a semi-promising rookie season in 2002, posting 12 wins, a 4.35 ERA, 1.37 WHIP, and 113 K's in 194.3 IP. But after his rookie season, Fogg essentially became...

If the Boston Red Sox have their own nation, that must mean the Chicago Cubs have their own continent. Even Rockies pitcher Josh Fogg, born into Red Sox Nation in Lynn, Mass., believes the Cubs have a wider following than the team that serves as keeper of the pulse of New England.
