Fogg is an example that it's not all the teams fault...
Reports indicate that Josh Fogg will be granted his full release ( source Daily News ), it's a shame that we couldn't keep Fogg, not for a current roster spot but more as a call-up candidate.Fogg is mentally tough and the Mets have too many fragile pitchers, he's the type of guy who his own teammates can be busting his chops and he'll go out, un-rattled to give you...

Now Hiring: Pitcher, Right Field and Third Base
There have been some exciting changes made to the Pittsburgh Pirates team. One of the more popular shifts is Dave Littlefield's decision not to offer a contract to Josh Fogg. As a pitcher his game fluctuated and his stats showed it. We are hoping to fill the openings we have at right field and third ...

According to Adam Rubin of the Daily News, the Mets have released RHP Josh Fogg.
Fogg, who signed a minor league deal with the Mets in January, did not appear in a Grapefruit League game with the Mets this spring and so he requested his release to give him some time to catch on with another team.
R.A. Dickey is looking more and more like the next pitcher the Mets might cut bait...

Is Fogg injured...
There are 15 pitchers scheduled to throw between Monday and Thursday but Josh Fogg is not one of them. Adam Rubin reports that the Mets are being overly conservative with even mild injuries and that they're telling Fogg to wait. But what is Fogg's injury, there never was an original report that he was injured, not that I see Fogg playing a big role for this team but I also...

Haven't the Foggiest
We here at WSBGMs love us a Phucco. However, if Josh Fogg makes it into the elite company of Andy Van Slyke and Dan Plesac we'll be less than thrilled. The Phillies inked Fogg to a minor league deal yesterday for some depth in the system. If they were looking to stockpile craptastic pitchers, then BINGO!, they found their man. Fogg may have rolled up a 3.74 ERA last year...

The Mets added the journeyman pitcher Josh Fogg, although it is not clear if he will be on the team when the season begins. Fogg, clouding over the mound.
Our most recent series against the Houston Astros was extremely painful. We lost two of three, scoring 2 to the Astros 12 in the first and no points at all in Sundays 0-3 road loss. Josh Fogg had better get ready to pitch tonight against the Los Angeles Dodgers. This will be another golden opportunit...

Reds Like Fogg
The Reds and Josh Fogg are in contract discussions, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. Fogg was 10-9 with 4.94 ERA for Colorado last year. It was the fifth time in six years he's won at least 10 games, which is great for a team looking for a reliable starter. Fogg will probably make four million d...

Reds Interested In Josh Fogg
According to John Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Reds are interested in free agent starter Josh Fogg.
The righty starter recently turned 31. As Fay notes, he made $3.625MM in 2007. He seems like he might seek three years and $21MM, just a guess. I don't want to dog the guy...
