Dallas Cowboys Should Switch to 4-3 Defense
The Dallas Cowboys may just have to make a change. This team hasn’t been able to get the job done on defense for the past two seasons and why should anyone believe Cowboys owner Jerry Jones will actually bring in quality help this time? He might bring in some “new faces” like he always says, but the Cowboys just need to face the facts and switch to a 4-3 defense. When you think...

Cowboys Unlikely To Retain LB's Anthony Spencer, Kenyon Coleman
Cowboys observers expect the strong side of the defense to look different next season. That means the team is likely to replace DRE Kenyon Coleman and allow LOLB Anthony Spencer to test the free-agent market. Coleman was a placeholder, nothing more. Although he's a strong run defender, Spencer simply hasn't developed as a pass rusher the way the team had hoped. He could return, but...

Cowboys Bringing Back Familiar Face
Former Cowboys Kenyon Coleman is set to make his return
While the Cowboys have been fairly silent in free agency, only signing their own free agents, it appears they have ventured out, at least a little. The Cowboys are closing in on former Cowboy, DE Kenyon Coleman. It is rumoured that they have offered Coleman a two-year deal and that he is expected to officially sign later today...

Cowboys Agree To Terms With DE Kenyon Coleman
When you bring in a new coach or coordinator and install a new system, it sometimes helps to bring with him players who've been playing for him and/or in his system. Such is the case with defensive end Kenyon Coleman, who played the past two seasons in Cleveland under defensive coordinator Rob Ryan. Ryan is now the defensive coordinator of the Cowboys, and early this morning...

The Browns cut six veterans yesterday, Shaun Rogers (31), Kenyon Coleman (31), David Bowens (33), Robert Royal (31), Eric Barton (33) and John St. Clair (33). With the dismissal of Barton, Bowens, and Coleman, none of Eric Mangini’s ex-Jets remain on the roster (Abe Elam is a free agent).
We’re especially sad to see all-around great guy Bowens go, but these cuts aren...

Cowboys fill out defensive line by signing Kenyon Coleman
The Cowboys haven’t exactly made the free agent splash that many fans were wanting. They obviously made a stab at Nnamdi, and they have been tied to a variety of other names that still remain on the market. But nothing too significant as of yet. However, they did quietly address their defensive end needs today by bringing back Marcus Spears and adding Kenyon Coleman. Coleman...

Patriots’ Explosive Offense is Nothing New for Cowboys’ Defensive Coordinator, Rob Ryan
The New England Patriots have scored 30 or more points in 13 consecutive, regular season games, dating back to last November.
In fact, the last team to hold Tom Brady and Company to fewer than 30 points is the Cleveland Browns.
So, what does that have to do with the Dallas Cowboys?
Dallas’ new defensive coordinator, Rob Ryan, was the DC of the Browns at the time. Behind...
