Kirk Hinrch is old and bad.
On Friday night, he’ll suit up for the first time since Feb. 7, when the Chicago Bulls beat the New Orleans Pelicans. He missed the last three games before the All-Star break with a turf toe injury – just another injury piled on to the Kansas guard’s career.
During practice on Wednesday Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau threw out a stat to reporters.
During last night’s Cavs- Bulls game, the SM crew came to a startling conclusion that the Bulls may have the most “unique” looking team in the NBA. No team in the NBA has as many players that you can say, “you know [fill in the blank] really does look like [fill in the blank]” as the Bulls. No qualitative research was officially done to confirm this bold statement, but...

Kid’s Day at the United Center on Sunday introduced an interesting, yet very entertaining, new idea. Commission young second and third grade fans to use their to use their artistic skills to depict their favorite Chicago Bulls.
It was called “Kid Picasso” and the results were apropos to say the least. Pablo Picasso himself would be hard pressed to come up with anything as abstract...
Kirk Hinrich, in his 14th season in the NBA, is still finding a way to make a major positive impact for the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls have been plagued with injury this season and Tom Thibodeau knows he can turn to Kirk when he needs a player to step up.

Kirk Hinrich pretty much lost this game.
With 3 seconds to go and the Bulls up 3, Monta Ellis (a good 3-point shooter to be sure) drove up to the right side of the court to take a desperation 3 as time expired. Hinrich fouled as Ellis went into his shot, with 1.2 seconds left. Ellis seemingly had no chance to make the 3, but he had a chance to make all 3 free throws. Obviously, he...

As we get close to Thanksgiving it seems like a lot of people have been forgetting to play their premium. Point and case as Ty Lawson came for payment from Kirk Hinrich is normally a very good defender, but when you don’t pay your bill anything is liable to happen. Lawson texted Hinrich before the game to Hinrich know he was late on his payment, but Kirk said,”I’ll get the...

Point guard Ty Lawson may be the quickest player in the NBA as Kirk Hinrich can now attest to. During the third quarter, Lawson was dribbling the ball to the foul-line extended area on the perimeter when he pulled out a nasty in-and-out dribble that buckled the knees of the Chicago Bulls guard. Hinrich could only fall to the court as Lawson easily went by him and fed Timofey Mozgov...
The NBA has no shortage of quality point guards right now and Ty Lawson is one who often falls through the cracks by those outside of Denver. Well, this wasn’t very nice, Ty Lawson.
Lawson does an in and out dribble move against Kirk Hinrich, who went for the steal and fell on one knee. Lawson was able to get the ball inside to Timofey Mozgov for the lay-in. But poor Kirk.
Watch Lawson do Hinrich dirty with that dribble move:
That was really, really bad, Ty.

Lawson is just wrong for doing this, but with Derrick Rose out, he’s going to go at the gritty Hinrich for the rest of the night.
