Phil Steele names his preseason All-Big 12 team
Last Friday, Phil Steele released his preseason All-Big 12 team which is usually a solid indicator of who will be on the media’s preseason team when it is announced later this summer (last season, ironically, it was identical). Here’s a look at who Steele tabbed for his first team honors. You can see all four teams on his blog post from Friday.

Baylor reveals 2013 uniforms.
Baylor has released a video showing off the 2013 season uniforms that Uncle Phil's Misguided Children at Nike have come up with.
That's running back Lache Seastrunk doing the Heisman pose around the 0:47 mark. Wishful thinking, perhaps? A certain other resident of Texas might have something to say about that.

College Football: Five RBs On the Rise in 2013
While the NFL is very much a passing league, the NCAA still tends towards the running game, with the majority of successful teams pounding their way up the rankings. While some teams have the good fortune to have freakishly athletic QBs on their roster, most schools rely on a stable of rushers to move the ball. I wrote a similar article on college QBs recently, and was aghast...
The Circus That is National Signing Day
National signing day is like no other day in sports. It is a weird day where kids in their late-teens take over our televisions and social media feeds, and it’s a day when grown men hang on the words of high school seniors as though they are awe-inspiring revelations. To many it is a day that decides the future of their favorite college football team; to others it is just a big...

As long as they move to Oregon.
There's something special about the rain and mountains here that feed Texan souls, that helps them perform better than they would anywhere else.
Memo to Texas stars: If you want to outshine everyone you ever played with, or against, head to the Beaver State for some burnishing...
Baylor 49, UCLA 26: Bears dominate, prove they have long-term staying power
SAN DIEGO--- If there is one, single appropriate way to describe the 2012 Holiday Bowl, it might be as the “bizarro game of the college football bowl season.” UCLA entered Thursday evening as a heavy favorite, with their opponent, Baylor viewed by most as a high-scoring sideshow, expected to throw the ball all over the field and do little else.
Well Baylor did throw the...
Baylor dominates No. 17 UCLA in Holiday Bowl
SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Brett Hundley looked up and saw a sea of white. The Baylor defense had just got to him again. This time it was the fourth time of the night and there was still over 11 minutes remaining in the first half.
Hundleys protection was limited at best. Just a few plays earlier, on the same drive, his center Jake Brendel was helped off of the field with an ankle injury...

Lache Seastrunk: ‘I’m going to win the Heisman’
The 2012 college football season saw the first freshman ever to win the Heisman Trophy, and there is no reason to believe that Johnny Football couldn’t become the first player since Archie Griffin to win it a second time before he leaves for the NFL. But Baylor Bears running back Lache Seastrunk is confident that [...]
Baylor RB Lache Seatrunk ” I will win the Heisman in 2013″
Baylor Bears running back Lache Seastrunk says he plans on winning the Heisman trophy in 2013 (Credit: AP Photo) Not many college football fans know his name, but Baylor running back Lache Seatrunk believes all of that will change next season. Seatrunk told The Sporting News this week that he plans on winning the 2013 Heisman. “I’m going to win the Heisman. I’m going to win...
Baylor RB Seastrunk says he will win Heisman
The history of sports guarantees is long and dubious, and the sports guarantee is a lot less risky than is commonly recognized.
So when Baylor running back Lache Seastrunk tells The Sporting News, "I'm going to win the Heisman," as he did Thursday, he is not so much sticking his neck out there as he is self-consciously presenting himself as a starring character within...

Final Big 12 Football Players of the Week Selected
Lache Seastrunk (Baylor), Geno Smith (West Virginia), Eddie Lackey (Baylor) and Tress Way (Oklahoma) have been chosen the season’s final Big 12 Football Players of the Week, as selected by a media panel. Smith and Seastrunk shared the offensive honor. It was the third award for Smith and first for Seastrunk. Lackey claimed the defensive [...]
Video of the Day
Baylor's Lache Seastrunk rushed for 178 yards in the Bears' win over Oklahoma State Saturday, but none of them were more important than this 76-yard, one-legged TD run.
Dawg, let's go inside the mind of a Lache Seastrunk...doo doo doo doo doo..."Dawg I gotta do this ****...I put the team on my ******* back though! My leg broke...I don't know how the...
Lache Seastrunk Pulls Hamstring and Runs 76 Yard TD (Video)
Baylor's Lache Seastrunk runs for a 76-yard TD against OSU on one good leg after pulling hamstring. Clearly if you've been on the internet at all in the last couple years this immediately reminds you of the Greg Jennings broken leg video. Can't believe someone actually pulled it off in real life though. Check out the video below, and I'm sure we will get a remake...
Baylor Running Back Scores 76-Yard Touchdown While Pulling Hamstring
I have no idea how Baylor running back Lache Seastrunk was able to complete this 76-yard touchdown run after pulling his hamstring half-way through but its pretty epic.
How slow is Oklahoma State that they can’t catch a dude with a pulled hammy. Time to run some windsprints boys.

Lache Seastrunk rushed for 178 yards, including a 76-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, and Nick Florence passed for 296 yards as Baylor beat No. 24 Oklahoma State 41-34 Saturday.
Baylor (7-5, 4-5 Big 12) has won at least seven games in three straight seasons - the first time the Bears have done that since 1949-51.
Seastrunk's long scoring run gave Baylor a 41-27 lead with...
