CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte has just finished another game, this time a loss to Oklahoma City, and the throng of local media converged into the Hornets locker room to talk to the players.
Sitting in a chair in the right-front corner of the locker room at his locker stall, Lance Stephenson quietly dressed. Not a single member of the media was interested in talking to him. They hadn...
Man, Lance Stephenson must have really wanted to save this ball from going out of bounds.
The Charlotte Hornets wing took to the skies and literally tried to leap over a courtside fan in an effort to gain an extra possession for his team. Unfortunately for Stephenson, two facts worked against him:
1. The ball was already out of bounds, so his attempt at such an athletic feat was...
Every day I ask Lance Stephenson to give me a follow on Twitter. My hashtag on the request is simply #LetsTalk.
Why am I doing this daily? Well, persistence pays off for starters. I can honestly say that in my pursuit of a follow from Gerald Henderson, Kemba Walker, Bismack Biyombo, Cody Zeller, and the rest of the gang, it hasn’t ever worked. It did work with Matt Carroll...
Despite all the injuries and a woeful offense, the Charlotte Hornets find themselves in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff race thanks to great defense and coaching. Here are five questions the team faces heading into the second half of the season:
1. Will Charlotte sustain any more injuries?
Even before the season started, the Hornets dealt with injuries to key people like...
High risk, high return described Lance Stephenson when he was with the Pacers, it describes him now and after a rough start with his new team, the Charlotte Hornets are having trouble finding another team to take the 24-year-old guard off their hands. But, somewhere, some team could do a lot worse than take a chance on Stephenson.
Coming into the NBA season, the Charlotte Hornets had their fans in high hopes for the first time in ages. Charlotte aggressively made acquisitions last summer to build off of last year’s playoff appearance, the organization’s first since the 2009-2010 season. Despite their efforts the Hornets find themselves sitting with a record of 22-30, fighting to keep their position...
The Charlotte Hornets are trying hard to unload Lance Stephenson after signing him to a three-year deal this summer. Stephenson has been linked to the Brooklyn Nets for weeks now — with sources saying a deal is unlikely before the deadline.
Stephenson is doing his part to make a trade happen — going on record as saying “it would be a blessing to play in Brooklyn.”

The Charlotte Hornets have acquired Mo Williams, Troy Daniels, along with cash considerations, from the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for guard Gary Neal and Miami’s 2019 second-round draft pick.
In addition, the Hornets have released Elliot Williams from his 10-day contract.
“We are excited to be adding two quality players to our organization...

It’s been a rough season away from the “Birdhouse” for the Charlotte Hornets’ Lance Stephenson. But with teammate Kemba Walker out for at least six weeks, Born Ready has a chance to shine.
He did so Saturday night, dishing out 13 assists in a blowout victory over the Nuggets. Of course, the good vibes carried over to the morning where Lance treated all of his Instagram followers...
The Charlotte Hornets have hit a road block in the form of injuries.
Marvin Williams, and Bismack Biyombo both left Saturday’s 76-71 win with a concussion, and a bruised knee respectively. The most significant setback is point-guard Kemba Walker’s decision to have surgery on his left knee to repair a torn left lateral meniscus, and will be out for at least six weeks.
Charlotte Hornets have had a good run as of late, winning 9 of their last 11. Everything has been good that Lance Stephenson has been in a great mood.
How good? Lance was showing off his dance moves before their win against the Knicks:

On Saturday, the Charlotte Hornets gave away Lance Stephenson bobbleheads to the fans who attended their game against the Indiana Pacers at the Time Warner Cable Arena. Maybe it was the rumors of a Stephenson trade or bad chemistry, but Lance wasn’t feeling this bobblehead at all.

One of the cool perks of being a professional athlete is getting likenesses of yourself made and there is no more impressive likeness item then a bobblehead.
Recently, Charlotte Hornets guard Lance Stephenson got the chance to check out his new bobblehead and provided this amusing response on his Instagram account:

Charlotte Hornets guard Lance Stephenson knocked his former teammate (and Indiana Pacers center) Roy Hibbert to the floor with a body check during Saturday's game at the Time Warner Cable Arena. We're a little surprised that Hibbert would go down so easily, so we're not sure that Hibbert didn't flop a little bit here. Still, that's just more unnecessary nonsense from Stephenson that...

Manu Ginobili said he needed a game like this.
Maybe it's the game the San Antonio Spurs needed to get things turned around, too.
Ginobili was the focal point of the Spurs' offense Wednesday night, scoring 27 points on 10-of-14 shooting in San Antonio's 98-93 victory over the Charlotte Hornets.
When the Spurs needed a big play, they didn't hesitate to turn to the 13-year NBA veteran...

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Hornets coach Steve Clifford says guard Lance Stephenson will return to action against the San Antonio Spurs after missing 14 games with a pelvic sprain.
Clifford said before Wednesday night's game he will work Stephenson back in slowly in a reserve role. He says Stephenson will only play about 15 minutes the first few nights back and ''we'll go from there.''

Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Garnett took a page out of Lance Stephenson’s book in Saturday night’s game against the Indiana Pacers.
He attempted to bait David West into acting out after getting whistled for a foul call while guarding the Pacers forward. So before play resumed, he leaned in and blew in West’s ear.
Lance Stephenson will miss the Charlotte Hornets' games this weekend due to his pelvic injury but could return as soon as Monday against the Milwaukee Bucks.
“I think we had a good idea he’d be out longer – it’s a tough (injury) day-to-day; where it is makes it hard to know,” Steve Clifford said. “I didn’t think he’d be ready to play this weekend.

The Hornets look good on the court, and I’m not talking about those new purple jerseys. Anyone who has been watching knows exactly what I’m talking about. The team everyone paid to see is now taking the court…I mean, they have for the last 4 games. This is your 2014-2015 Charlotte Hornets. They are a team full of hustle, a motor that won’t quit, and a hunger to outperform...

The Charlotte Hornets appear to already be suffering from buyer’s remorse after signing Lance Stephenson to what looked like on the surface, at least, as a team-friendly deal worth $18 million over a span of two years (with Lance hitting the market again after the new TV deals kick in).
But as of this moment, no trade appears to be imminent for the former Indiana Pacer. In less...
