Are Lions thinking about Signing Leonard Davis?
The Detroit Lions feel they need to add some depth to their offensive line and according to Jason La Confora they have begin by process by bringing in former Cowboy guard Leonard Davis. At this point they haven’t officially signed Davis to a contract, but I would assume a deal could be done by the end of today or tomorrow if the Lions were serious about having Davis join the...

Cowboys Set to Release Right Guard Leonard Davis This Offseason?
There is a strong possibility that the Cowboys could release right guard Leonard Davis this offseason. Davis had a dreadful season in 2010, providing only 2.0 yards per carry through his side of the line.
The three-time Pro Bowler hit an all-time low in Week 5 when he was benched after getting abused by the Tennessee Titans. Davis is signed through 2013, but ESPN Dallas is reporting...

Cowboys Cut Marion Barber, Leonard Davis, More To Come
The Cowboys have cut right guard Leonard Davis and running back Marion Barber Jr. today according to ESPN.
For those of you who read my posts, the Barber cut should come as no surprise to any of you as he was overpaid and unproductive in my opinion.
Since Barber was given the opportunity for increased playing time after the team cut ties with Julius Jones, Barber’s yards per...

Was Leonard Davis injured or benched?
ARLINGTON - Right guard Leonard Davis is on the Cowboys sideline, having been replaced by Montrae Holland, but he doesn't appear to be hurt.
Considering the Cowboys have given up five sacks, perhaps the Texas alumn was benched.
Davis has been up and down this season. It wouldn't surprised me if he was benched.]]>

Dallas Cowboys: 2011 Free Agency moves: Leonard Davis victim of new salary cap.
Leonard Davis of the Dallas Cowboys was released by the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday.
The move was one that made Davis a victim of that new salary cap of $120 million in the 2011-2012 NFL season.
In 2008 Davis signed a four year $22 million extension contract, and the 11 year vet started every game in 2010.
In a move that made me scratch my head, Davis's release obviously...

Leonard Davis' job is on the line after benching
IRVING - Right guard Leonard Davis has been playing poorly all season, so it was no surprise that he got benched in the first half while the Cowboys were in the midst of giving up five sacks.
But all the blame can't be placed on Davis' broad shoulders. Sure, he was lousy, giving up two sacks. But right tackle Marc Colombo also got beat and running back Marion Barber's inability...

Cowboys OG Leonard Davis Not On Thin Ice
From what Pro Football Weekly hears, Cowboys ORG Leonard Davis is not on super-thin ice. Davis was benched after a miserable effort in Week Five and only re-entered the game because of an injury to his replacement. The team thinks its best starting five, especially when it runs the ball, includes Davis, and our sources are chalking his benching up to a bad game.
