Eight days is simply not enough time to temper emotions. In the second half of the home-and home series between the BC Lions and Montreal, the Alouettes find themselves in Vancouver with bragging rights having won on their own turf last week.

Alouettes take Round 1 in home-and-home series with Lions
The BC Lions return home from Montreal with their 4 game winning streak snapped by the Alouettes. The Als always seemed to have a counter-attack for the Leos as this game came down to the wire.
A last second pass deflection snuffed out he Lions hopes in a game that finished 30-25 in favour of the home squad.

NWSB editor “Q” asked me to make some predictions for my B.C. Lions for the 2012 season. So here we go.
Travis Lulay will run away with the CFL’s Outstanding Player for the second straight year. He has the deepest receiving corps in the league, a dual threat in the backfield and probably the best O-Line in franchise history to protect him.
MVP MVP MVP!
An ambitious BC Lions prediction? Not in my eyes.
Let’s look at the facts:
FACT #1 – The past five MVP’s have all been quarterbacks. So have 9 of the last 10, the only exception being Geroy Simon in 2006 (who, it should be noted, was a BC Lion)
FACT #2 – Travis Lulay is the reigning MVP, the best quarterback in the CFL and a member of the reigning Grey Cup champions...
