Nogueira will continue to be included on the Raptors’ roster and will remain on the team’s inactive list. He is expected to be in uniform for the Mad Ants on Saturday when they play host to the Delaware 87ers at 7:30 p.m.

The long lanky center Lucas ‘Bebe’ Nogueira is a potential shot swatting machine who looked good as a reserve in Spain’s top league, however, a serious nagging groin injury has left him not quite ready to play for the Toronto Raptors. “I am feeling very good, better than two or three weeks ago, but I am not ready yet,” Nogueira said.

It's true that wins in the Summer League aren't a very valuable currency in the NBA economy.
That the Sacramento Kings just won the nominal tournament in the Summer League's Las Vegas session means something—but what, exactly? The members of that roster would certainly prefer to receive a contract from an NBA team, even at the cost of losing all the games. And what value will...

Lucas Nogueira was still under contract for one more season with Asefa Estudiantes in Spain when the Raptors traded for him and although he has already played in one NBA Summer League game with Toronto, the team has yet to be able to announce they have got his name on a contract.
