Kings At Least Make Spurs Earn 11th Straight
When the San Antonio Spurs beat the Sacramento Kings for the 11th consecutive time on Friday night, the result reflected what should happen when the team when the league’s best team meets the conference’s worst (record-wise). The final score (108-103) may have looked a little closer than it should, but nobody should really act surprised at the outcome.

Magic Come Up Big Late, Defeat Kings
The Orlando Magic again struggled with the Sacramento Kings, especially in the first half, but rallied from a six-point fourth quarter deficit and hung on for a 106-102 win. DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings with a career-high 29 points while Jameer Nelson tied a season-high with 26 points, including 12 in the fourth quarter.
Once again the Magic came out with a poor defensive effort...

Celtics Face Challenge As They Take On Tyreke Evans, Full-Strength Kings in Sacramento
Three weeks ago back in Boston, the Celtics easily took down a Sacramento team that was at less than full strength. Tyreke Evans, the reigning NBA Rookie of the Year, was out with a foot injury, and the Kings started Luther Head in his place. The C's won easily, 119-95. This time, though, Evans is back, and he's going to be a difference-maker. Despite battling both an ankle...

Big Ten Hoops FIRES BRUCE WEBER
This is for you, Bruce
This week, we’re going to dispense with the re-capy type substance for the team comments in our power-rankings, and grind this awfully large axe I’ve been carrying around for the past two weeks.
Bruce Weber probably sucks at coaching.
Let’s get on to…

Francisco Garcia Out An Extended Period
I’ll leave this up to Harper and Ham over at Cowbell Kingdom.
After the screen was finally lifted today, allowing us media types to watch the action, there was a welcome sight. Sacramento Kings’ starting small forward Francisco Garcia was back on the practice floor, running full-court sets with the team. Unfortunately, that didn’t last long. Lost in the action...

Forty-Three With A Bullet
I watched two games last night. The first being the D.C.-Sacramento open gym scrimmage. The second being the L.A.-Cleveland Globetrotters fiasco. Last night, according to those two games, the NBA died. Too bad mi amigos. I mean, really, if you watched either of those games and thought, “Yeah. There’s nothing better I could be doing with my time” then I can also assume you a...

Oh-ah No-ah, JoaNoah
So this is a blow to your team. Or a blow-ah, if you’re into continuous rhyming patterns. Joakim Noah will have surgery on his thumb that, by most accounts, will lay him low until February or March. Before you continue reading, go grab Taj Gibson. He won’t replace Noah’s output, but he’s probably the best option still available on your waiver wire averaging...

Day 31 of 170: The NBA Knows Better Than To Compete With Thanksgiving Football
Thursdays are usually slow days in the NBA anyway, but it seems like the schedulers went out of their way this year to make sure that no one would want to watch anything but football.
Line of the Night: With the Hawks being 20 point winners over the Wizards, I would have though someone from A-Town would have this, but Gilbert Arenas (2.47) comes out on top with 21 points, 6 rebounds...
