Patriots trade for WR Salas, 7 to practice squad

A day after dumping 22 players from the roster to get down to 53, the Patriots continued making moves today, signing seven players to the practice squad and trading for St. Louis Rams wide receiver Greg Salas. Report: Matt Light might retire

According to Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald, Patriots offensive tackle Matt Light might decide to retire. The Patriots should be in good shape if Light decides to retire, because Marcus Cannon, Nate Solder, Sebastian Vollmer and Matt Kopa will all be in the mix to start in 2012.
