Satan parties like it’s 1999, Bruins finish off Sabres
The year is 1999. Bill Clinton is in office, Napster debuts, Spongebob Squarepants airs its first episode, Windows 98 is still on the rise, and, more importantly, Miroslav Satan helps the Buffalo Sabres knock off the Boston Bruins in six games in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
Now flash-forward 11 years. Clinton’s gone, Napster’s gone, Spongebob is [...]

MIROSLAV SATAN SENT DOWN
The never-ending drama that is Miroslav Satan just got a little more intriguing, as the underwhelming winger will apparently report to the Penguins' minor-league affiliate in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.Satan had 17 goals, 19 assists and 36 points in 65 games this season. He was a bad fit in nearly every way, shape, and form, from his production to his line to his salary ($3.5 million...

NHL Number 81 - Miroslav Satan
Miroslav Satan, the Slovakian left-shooting right-winger, is the best NHL athlete to ever wear the jersey number 81. Taken by the Edmonton Oilers in the 1993 NHL draft, Satan would break into the NHL at age 21 during the 1995-96 season. He would score 35 points (18 goals and 17 assists) during his rookie campaign. He would score 28 more points in 64 games with the Oilers the following...

Satan goes to Russia after 14 NHL seasons
Miroslav Satan, 36, has signed with Dynamo Moscow of the
KHL for the remainder of the season, according to his agent Alan Walsh. Which
is of course a bummer for any NHL fan that considers the Satan Shuffle to be one
of the best goal celebrations in recent memory.
Satan played quite well (14 points) in 38 regular season
games for the Boston Bruins in 2009-10, and then posted 10 points...

Bruins knock the Sabres out of the NHL playoffs.
I must admit that I am very happy tonight. I would love to see the Boston Bruins resign Miroslav Satan to a contract extension because he has been clutch in this series (2g-3a-5pts) in 6 games. Next to the UND Fighting Sioux the Boston Bruins are my favorite hockey team and it's has been 18 long years since the Bruins last beat the Buffalo Sabres in the Stanley Cup playoffs. The...

Boston Bruins on the Verge of a series win.
What a beautiful goal by former Buffalo Sabre Miroslav Satan to beat the Sabres. I must say that I am very happy because it's been 18 years since the Boston Bruins have beaten the Buffalo Sabres in the Stanley Cup playoffs, (1991-1992 season Bruins win series 4-3). The Boston Bruins are on the verge of winning the series against their heated rival.

Satan out with cut on hand
At 4:24 of the first period Thursday, Miroslav Satan , the latest right wing to ride shotgun with Marc Savard , made sure that the ace playmaker’s wraparound tape-to-tape feed wouldn’t be wasted. MIROSLAV SATAN SENT TO MINORS
When Ray Shero signed Miroslav Satan to a $3.5 million dollar contract in the offseason, he probably never envisioned a scenario in which he would be sending the veteran winger to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. But just that scenario unfolded just moments ago, when the Pens officially demoted the 34-year-old to their AHL affiliate.Shero will reportedly talk with Satan and his agent in the...

After clearing Waivers on wednesday, the end of the line has come for RW Miroslav Satan. With just 17 goals this season, the Penguins demoted Satan to Wilkes-barre/Scranton of the AHL.
