The Nets and Pistons faced off on Tuesday night and during the game Mirza Teletovic learned a very important lesson about when to tie his shoe. As both teams lined up for a free throw, Mirza must have thought it was two instead of one attempts because he bent over to tie his shoe just as Kim English shot his free throw. As Mirza tied his shoe, Andre Drummond was treated with one...
Andray Blatche led a bevy of Brooklyn bench players with 20 points and 11 rebounds the Nets erased an early 17 point deficit to beat the Washington Wizards 106-101 on Monday night.
Kris Humphries, who was the team's original starting power forward at the beginning of the season before falling out of the rotation, added 20 points and nine boards for Brooklyn. Mirza Teletovic...

The Brooklyn Nets took a little bit of a gamble this off season signing an international player, Mirza Teletovic, that nobody quite knew how to project to the NBA. He was quite the player in Europe, but has yet to really find a steady role with the Nets.
With international players, you always have to wonder if they will leave the NBA if things don’t work...
Mirza Teletovic is in the first season of a three-year contract with the Nets.
If ultimately called upon, Mirza Teletovic made it clear that he's ready for a larger role.
When the Celtics take the floor tonight in Phoenix, Paul Pierce will be announced as their starting small forward, much like he has nearly every game for the past 15 seasons. However, if Fred Kerber of the New York Post is to be believed, Danny Ainge called the Nets yesterday and made them an offer for Pierce, only to be rebuffed.

The Celtics sought MarShon Brooks, Mirza Teletovic, Kris Humphries and two future first round picks for Paul Pierce.

Brooklyn Nets rookie forward Mirza Teletovic, a 27-year-old rookie from Bosnia, shot three consecutive air balls during the fourth quarter of Wednesday night's NBA game against the Detroit Pistons. We can not confirm whether Teletovic set an NBA record in the process.
As of this writing, Teletovic only averages about 8 minutes a game (in 28 games played). It's going...
We here at That NBA Lottery Pick have come across some pretty crazy moments over the years but Brooklyn Nets forward Mirza Teletovic gets special treatment for this effort against the Detroit Pistons. In the fourth quarter of play, Mirza had three consecutive shot attempts fall short of the goal and provide us with a laughable moment:
Brooklyn Nets rookie Mirza Teletovic is only averaging 8 minutes per game. And just in case you’re wondering why Teletovic is only averaging 8 minutes a game, he made it abundantly clear in last night’s game against the Pistons when he shot three straight airballs and promptly took a seat on the bench. Much to Reggie Evans’ enjoyment.
The post Nets rookie Mirza Teletovic shoots...
It's not often you see NBA players air ball jump shots unless the shot gets tipped. Mirza Teletovic of the Brooklyn Nets accomplished this feat last night.....three consecutive times.
Although Mirza only averages about eight minutes and 3.4 points a game, he still needs to shoot better than this. I would almost have to compare this to a hat trick in soccer or hockey...

The Nets took on the Pistons last night in Detroit. Hell no we didn’t watch it and you know something good had to have happened for us to give it any attention at all. Well, Mirza Teletovic (WHO!?), a 27-year-old Bosnian on the Nets, shot three airballs in three consecutive possessions.
Teletovic, a rookie, has been playing about 8-minutes per game. Last night he got...
Maybe sit this next one out, Champ.
Brooklyn rookie Mirza Teletovic had the dubious honor Wednesday night of shooting airballs on three consecutive possessions in the third quarter of the Nets game against the Detroit Pistons. With his team up 74-73, Teletovic attempted a wide open 3-pointer that wasn’t even close. On the following trip down the floor he tried a fallaway jumper...

I’m going to be honest with you, I didn’t have any idea as to who Mirza Teletovic was until last night when I was watching the Brooklyn Nets and the Detroit Pistons. Just before he hoisted his first shot of the evening, Nets’ announcer Ian Eagle said, this is why he is in the game…air ball. Now, I’m assuming Eagle meant that he was there to knockdown threes. But then, Teletovic...
Nets rookie forward, Mirza Teletovic, airballed three consecutive shots in under a minute during the fourth quarter of Brooklyn’s 93-90 victory over the Pistons Wednesday:
NEW YORK -- P.J. Carlesimo took a glance at the final stat sheet after his Nets won for the seventh straight time and ninth time out of 10 under his watch, and he marveled at the fact that Brooklyn indeed defeated the Toronto Raptors. "We beat a very good team," Carlesimo said after the Nets' 113-106 victory Tuesday night at the Barclays Center in a game they easily...
NEW YORK -- The Brooklyn Nets weren't too worn out from their double-overtime game the previous night to again extend a warm welcome to interim coach P.J. Carlesimo. The Nets dominated the surging Sacramento Kings for most of the game along the way to a 113-93 win Saturday night at the Barclays Center, helped largely by their bench, which contributed 50 points. The starters...
Brook Lopez scored 18 points in 17 minutes to lead six players in double figures, and the Brooklyn Nets got a nice effort from their reserves in beating the Sacramento Kings 113-93 on Saturday night for their third straight victory.
One night after needing two overtimes to escape with a 115-113 victory in Washington, the Nets made sure the starters weren't too taxed. Deron Williams...

Mirza Teletovic made a foul shot with 4.1 seconds left and the Brooklyn Nets reserves rallied from a 12-point deficit to beat the Boston Celtics 97-96 in a preseason game Tuesday night.
Brooklyn's Stephen Dennis drew a foul with 5 seconds left to play and the game tied at 96-all, but he missed both free throws. Teletovic was there for the offensive rebound and was fouled by...
