Rangers place Nick Tarnasky on waivers

In one of those “wtf” moments of the day, the Rangers have placed forward Nick Tarnasky on waivers. Tarnasky was on the training camp roster, but was injured. Injured players cannot be waived. So this is more of a paperwork thing. When Tarnasky clears, he will go to Hartford.
