Nick Young Ends His Michael Jordan Boycott
Nick Young is a fickle man. The Wizards guard has ended his boycott of the Michael Jordan shoe/clothing brand that started less than two months ago.
Young was upset with Jordan’s hard-line stance against the players during the lockout and declared he was boycotting Jumpman. That came to an end with the release of the Air Jordan 11s that caused a frenzy among shoppers.

Nick Young Has Strong Baseline Game
Nick Young of the young Washington Wizards showed a little of his athleticism on Friday night against the Denver Nuggets by breezing past the defense, going baseline, and hammering it home. It is sstill amazing the amount of young talent on the Wizards, and still awful performance.

Nick Young Trying To Change Perceptions
Once you get a reputation in the NBA, it is very difficult to change it. Reporters and broadcasters will hammer that reputation down for their neat little stories. Coaches and general managers do not have the time to watch game tape or be around the player long enough to change perceptions. When a player with a bad reputation hits the market it stays with them -- see the story of...

Can these three bad teams find fixes?
When you're as bad as the Washington Wizards, New Orleans Hornets and Charlotte Bobcats, there are no easy fixes.
After all, getting this bad takes dedication.
The Wizards, Hornets and Bobcats are kind of like those silly beer T-shirts that proclaim, "This body was built 12 ounces at a time." In other words, the body exists and is being filled with stuff, but not much of it is...

Is one-and-done the best option for Nick Young?
Will Nick Young sign a one-year deal and come back to Washington? Will the Wizards take advantage of their ability to give Young more years and money and tie him up long-term? Or will Young jump at the first offer sheet that comes close to what he wants?
The preseason opener is Friday and the season opener is less than two weeks away, and time is dwindling for those decisions to...

Trade Deadline Looming for Wizards
Year 2 of the rebuild has not gone as smoothly as Wizards fans would have hoped but this IS a rebuild. Simply put, if the Wizards don’t want to alienate the already sparse fan base, the roster has to undergo a major transformation and increase the toughness and basketball IQ of this team.
The players that the Wizards could use as trade bait have severely diminished their trade...

Why It’s Imperative to Keep Nick Young
After the lockout, there was a lot of speculation about Nick Young and where he would land in the NBA as a free agent. Many members of the DC media were pleading for Washington to not overpay just to keep Young due to his inconsistency.
I was not one of them.
I’ve come to find that I’m in the minority of the people who believe that Young is our second greatest asset on this...

Wizards’ Nick Young readjusting to starting role
When he was coming off the bench as a sixth man, Nick Young was the Wizards’ best, and seemingly only, offensive weapon. He scored 37 of the team’s 167 points in the first two games against New Jersey and Atlanta and his jump shot had a magnetic attraction to the net.
But after being inserted back in the starting five, Young quickly caught the missed shot flu that has been plaguing...

Juvenile atmosphere explains Wizards' agony
In this age of constant information and unparalleled hype of young people, we are often led to believe that every NBA team has something going for it.
The Washington Wizards are proof that such is not the case, and really, never has been.
But thats not what we were told. We were told that second-year point guard John Wall was going to be The Man to lead the Wizards to respectability...

Wizards’ Nick Young ends protest against Michael Jordan

Nick Young not feeling Michael Jordan
As a Nike athlete, Nick Young wasn’t allowed to wear any other sneaker when he suited up for the Wizards. And on game nights and practices, Young always preferred to wear Kobe Bryant’s signature shoes, fancying the light feel and the design, which he usually personalized with strange color schemes and ordered from his personal computer.

Take That, MJ! Wizards Player Nick Young Won’t Wear Jordans Anymore
In a tweet Sunday, Washington Wizards guard/forward Nick Young vowed to never lace up a pair of Nike Air Jordan shoes ever again after the Charlotte Bobcats owner took a hardline stance against the players during lockout negotiations. Ouch. How will Nike ever recover from this relatively meaningless dose of comeuppance? I suppose Young should [...]
