Oilers claim G Hovinen off waivers from Flyers

The Edmonton Oilers have claimed goalie Niko Hovinen off waivers from the Philadelphia Flyers on Friday. The 24-year-old native of Finland played in 16 games this season with the Trenton Titans of the ECHL. He went 4-6-3 with a 3.14 goals-against average and an .889 save percentage.
