Paul Lo Duca released from Colorado Rockies
According to Jack Etkin of InsideTheRockies, the Colorado Rockies have released catcher Paul Lo Duca from Triple-A Colorado Spring. Lo Duca lost his spot on the Sky Sox’s roster when catcher Paul Phillips cleared waivers and accepted his minor league assignment.
Lo Ducoa, 38, was hitting .233 (10-for-43) with 1 home run and 7 RBIs in 14 games for the Sky Sox.

The Rockies have released 38-year old righty swinging catcher Paul LoDuca. LoDuca played in 14 games in AAA-ball this year and he was 10 of 43 (.233 avg, .594 OPS) with 5 runs scored, 1 homer and 7 RBIs. LoDuca got bumped after Paul Phillips accepted his minor league assignment as the Rockies like him more than LoDuca. This likely will end LoDuca’s hopes of making it back...

LoDuca: I am not a cheater
Paul Lo Duca, Washington Nationals' catcher and a character in the non-fiction essay the Mitchell Report, called into the Joe and Evan Show on WFAN 660 in New York this morning. The show hosts, who have had plenty of harsh words for Lo Duca, were extremely cordial but did an honorable job in asking Lo Duca several steroid related questions.

Lo Duca attracting interest from teams

Payton, Lo Duca willing to accept minor-league assignments if necessary
TUCSON — A month ago, outfielder Jay Payton and catcher Paul Lo Duca arrived in camp as insurance. That hasn’t changed, but they have turned heads with their solid play.
