NBA dorks both recently acquired and long-time-ago brought in can always seem to agree on one thing: NBA champion ring ceremonies are the absolute best. Whether you're giving a little cry over (barely) San Antonio Spurs forward Jerome Kersey taking to his ring in November of 1999 or watching Jason Terry JET-ing his way toward the hardware in late January of 2012 ... well, did...

Sacramento Kings: Playing the Spoiler
The Sacramento Kings haven’t been relevant since the Peja Stojakovic and Vlade Divac days and the huge rivalry with the Los Angeles Lakers. Sacramento last made the playoffs in the 2005-2006 campaign, which was also the last time they had a winning record. Since that season, the Kings have gone a measly 137-273 record, which results in a .334 winning percentage.
Though this...

Reasons to believe Mavericks will repeat
Desire can be a funny thing. For all the longing of a single event, for all the times a person or team may beg for that single chance, that lone taste of ultimate glory, time doesn't stop once it's attained.
The Dallas Mavericks spent 31 years with one goal in mind. Through 11 straight seasons of 50 win seasons, there remained that one desire left unsatisfied. When it wondered...

Peja Stojakovic: The BallinEurope tribute
Just days ago, Peja Stojakovic appeared to be a viable free agent for an NBA team with roster holes, a still-deadly long-range assassin at the age of 34, a 19-year veteran with gas enough in the tank for late-game daggers and smart D, a prototypical European baller with an American championship pedigree. “Couldn’t he drain a few 3s for a contender?” rhetorically asked hoops...
