2013 AHL Playoffs: Grand Rapids Griffins Draw Houston Aeros in Round 1
The Grand Rapids Griffins are headed to the playoffs for the first time since 2009 after clinching their first division title since 2006. The Griffins, the Detroit Red Wings’ AHL affiliate, hold the No. 3 seed in the postseason and will take on the sixth-seeded Houston Aeroes in a best-of-five.
