Now I am seeing something that makes sense in regards to Phil Kessel and him not signing a contract as of yet, however, I personally would rather see Marco Sturm go and the Bruins keep Chuck Kobasew. The big Bruins news of the week, however, has to with general manager Peter Chiarelli’s...

Every hockey trade needs a bit of distance to be properly evaluated. I thought the Leafs had erred when they acquired Dimitri Yushkevich for a first round pick way back in 1995. The pick turned out to be a bust and Yushkevich became one of my all time favourite Leafs.Tonight Phil Kessel...

Good news for the Boston Bruins as they have resigned their top center for another 7 years. Savard will average 4.2 million per season for seven years. I think it's ironic that Savard signed for less than Phil Kessel asked for during the off-season. The Bruins officially announced...

I avoided writing about the Phil Kessel Saga all summer, and did a good job of ignoring it. The only time I talked about it is when somebody asks me what is going on with Kessel or if it comes up in conversation with other Bruins fans. Otherwise, I haven't batted an eyelash.
