College of San Mateo defensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator Tim Tulloch confirmed that defensive lineman Pio Vatuvei has signed a national letter-of-intent with the University of Louisville. The 6-foot-2, 285-pound Vatuvei is a former Washington Husky.
College of San Mateo defensive lineman Pio Vatuvei, a former Washington Huskie, made a visit with Louisville over the weekend. After his visit, he told Cardinal Authority that Louisville is his leader.
Pio Vatuvei, who played his freshman season at the University of Washington, will make a visit to the University of Louisville next weekend. The defensive tackle could be a late addition to the U of L football signing class.
