San Diego Chargers: Five players to consider in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft
Kirby Lee-US PRESSWIRE
San Diego has the 13th pick in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Antoine Cason was torched in coverage for most of the 2011 season, and Quentin Jammer will be 33 by the start of the 2012 season. This would be a move do add depth for 2012, and here is a list of players to consider in the sixth round.

Will Chargers Soar with Another Eagle?
The Chargers, yet again, need help at corner. Antoine Cason and Marcus Gilchrist were benched at points last year, while Quentin Jammer will soon move to safety. One option is taking a mid-round flier on Donnie Fletcher; the physical DB from BC helps us explore that idea in this exclusive interview.

Ranking the Bears' GM Candidates
The main thing the Bears need is someone who will consistently deliver in drafts, because that's how the best teams in the NFL have been built. Free agency can only add so much. So looking at the Bears' general manager candidates, who will fit that mold? We took a closer look and ranked them in order of best to oh-good-heavens-not-under-any-circumstance.

Chargers' Jammer Vows to Rebound
Quentin Jammer didn't stutter, mutter or mince his words.
He insisted it nearly two months ago, and this week, he repeated the same message, again and again.
The first time he faced the Oakland Raiders this season, things went about as poorly as possible for the Chargers cornerback. Now, just as he vowed in the locker room after the game, Jammer says this next time will be different...

Diggs gets brother's locker for Holiday Bowl
It's a special thing that the Longhorns will get ready in the San Diego Chargers locker room at Snapdragon Stadium before playing Cal in the Holiday Bowl Wednesday night, but it'll be even better for cornerback Quandre Diggs. Why? Because he'll be getting dressed at brother Quentin Jammer's Chargers locker.

Chargers Unlikely To Move CB Quentin Jammer To Safety In 2012
Expect another offseason full of conversation that Chargers CB Quentin Jammer should change positions and move to safety. The team is still not sold that current starting SS Steve Gregory is a long-term answer after he replaced free-agent pickup Bob Sanders, and there is a strong belief that Jammer's physical style is better-suited for playing deep in the defensive backfield...

The Chargers need a clean slate
Written by: Matthew BlunkThe time has come for the San Diego Chargers to make some changes.
Not only should head coach Norv Turner be removed, but general manager A. J. Smith has to go as well.
Years of slow starts and furious finishes led up to this season, when the Chargers started 4-1 "winning ugly," and have now lost six straight games. The entire San Diego offense...

Drowning Chargers Get a Weekend
The San Diego Chargers have spun and denied reality all season, hanging their helmets on what the standings showed in spite of them.
Quit worrying how we've looked: We're 4-1.
See the bottom line: We're 4-2.
Come off it: We're 4-3.
It's OK: We're tied for first place.

Analysis: Chargers Undo Mistake
There is no sugarcoating what happened three weeks ago.
Chargers cornerback Antoine Cason was overmatched in the red zone against 6-foot-5 wide receiver Plaxico Burress of the New York Jets. He gave up three touchdowns inside the 10-yard line. He also missed an open-field tackle early in the game on a screen catch.
No sugarcoating his struggles.
And no sense to how they were handled...

A Totally Not Funny, But Informative Piece On Phillip Rivers. Who’s Been Angry An Awful Lot Lately
My best friend , Samantha, is a huge San Diego Chargers fan, so naturally I’ll support her team in any way that I can (such a chick thing to say). This meant going up to the all mighty Gillette Stadium in an Antonio Gates jersey, it meant switching into a Quentin Jammer jersey when times got tough. It meant going to Met Life Stadium in that same Antonio Gates jersey, getting...

Chargers' Jammer Takes a Compliment
The way this season has gone so far, San Diego Chargers cornerback Quentin Jammer should be blushing every time he walks off a football field and into a post-game locker room.
No NFL player is receiving so many compliments.
Entering Week 8, quarterbacks had targeted Jammer 10 times all season, the fewest among any cornerback who has played at least a quarter of his team's snaps...

Quentin Jammer: Officials called Chargers/Jets game unfairly
The San Diego Chargers, after blowing an eleven point lead, traveled back to America's Finest City on Sunday night with a loss in their pocket. In the mind of cornerback Quentin Jammer, it wasn't a loss they earned, but instead, it was stuffed in their pockets against their will by incompetent officials.
After collecting 13 penalties for 95 yards (with a previous season average...

Jammer Turns Into Sour Grapes
“I don’t have to say anything about what the refs did — everyone saw how the calls went. […] No way it was called fairly. No way. Not at all. It wasn’t called fairly at all. Maybe I’m being biased, but I’m just judging off what I saw. It wasn’t a fair game called.

Chargers: No Going Easy on LT
For nine seasons, LaDainian Tomlinson was a hit with the San Diego Chargers. On Sunday, LT will get hit by the Chargers.

LT is now used more in the passing game than the running game, but if you get him in the open field the man can still do some damage.
Of course, he still has plenty of friends in the Chargers...
