A fresh faced and undefeated Rashad Evans entered season 2 of The Ultimate
Fighter at the age of 26. Since winning
the show; Rashad has gone on to fight in the UFC 16 times, he was a coach on
The Ultimate Fighter, and picked up a world title along the way. It may be cliche, but Evans’ career has seen
him go from being a boy to becoming a man.
Card subject to change - It's a disclaimer everyone knows about but hopes won't apply to them. Unfortunately in MMA it's more of a probability than a disclaimer these days especially, it seems, if it's a Pay-Per-View card in Canada. Take UFC 149 in Alberta for example. It went from Anderson Silva v Chael Sonnen as the headlining bout to Jose Aldo v Erik Koch to eventually...
Why a contender you ask? Ever since Rashad Evans stepped into the Octagon back in 2004 as a heavyweight contestant on “The Ultimate Fighter Season II, he has been a contender. He fought his way into the TUF2 house and then went on to win fights against four heavyweights to win season 2. He won a split decision bout over the much larger 6”7 inch Brad Imes.... Read more

Stacked UFC events on the weekend of the Superbowl are nothing strange for the world’s largest MMA promotion, so it’s no surprise to see another stacked event this weekend.
The first pay-per-view event of the 2013 UFC season is just days away. What better way to get yourself pumped up than by watching a video that was made just to pump you up.

Vitor Belfort may be a huge underdog going into UFC 152, but that hasn’t slowed him down. A behind the scenes video shows Belfort enduring grueling workouts en route to Bones. If you thought for a second that Belfort wasn’t taking this fight seriously, you need to see this video!
The entire MMA world continues to pile on Jon Jones over the UFC 151 cancellation. It is probably a surprise to nobody that Rashad Evans is the latest to blast the champ. What is surprising is the professionalism and truth in his criticism.
A long time ago Eric approached me with the idea of writing a blog about “The decline of Lyoto Machida.” I was instantly intrigued, but thought that we might be of two different minds on the subject. With his recent victory over Ryan Bader, I thought it might be worthy of discussion.
